Oh please please please get a pistol shrimp/watchman goby pair. You will NOT be disappointed. I had a pair when I had my reef tank and they were my favorite feature of that tank. So cool to see them pair up and be buddies in tunnels
They sound cool! I was hoping for some type of shrimp of course lol. I’ve always been a fan of gobies, I like bottom water column critters. Kuhli loaches and corydoras have always been my favorite for this reason.
@@PoseidonsPets Nice! I'm going to close my shrimp room soon for many reasons, manly because it's a bedroom and we need an extra bedroom in the house. I wish I have a bigger house with an extra room for my shrimp. Keep updating!
Whoa you been busy! Fantastic progress, I’m really enjoying your fishroom, you have planned it very well👍🏻 , I wish I had😂 truth be told I never realized I’d have a fishroom until I hit tank #8. So I’m looking forward to all the coming updates, thanks for all the hard work for our enjoyment!! Like#20 comment #20🙂👍🏻💯⭐️
Poseidon's Pets yes! One thing I’ve found is the aquarium hobby the learning is the journey and not the destination. This old dog learns daily after in this hobby for 47 years straight lol it keeps the hobby fresh🙂👍🏻⭐️💯
looking great! love the shrimp rack, wish i had one as nice! for the 20g tank with the chip, i'd just donate it to a lizard person, it's pretty risky and not really worth it and for a peace of mind, i'd get rid of it asap so you can put a 40g breeder there instead :)
In my opinion, you could use that damaged tank to grow mangroves outside your house or something similar, but let it be outside in case it breaks. 🤔 - Ramon
I've recently came across ur videos and Iam really impressed at what you do with shrimps, it's amazing - I got involved into shrimps for a week now and I got myself some cherry shrimp (15) and wanted to ask how long it would take for them to get offsprings? It's a 20 Gallon Tank with Corydoras, Kuhli Loaches, dwarf Puffer, lotsa snails, tetras, and some guppies. Keep up the good work ! :D
Thanks! Glad you like it 🤗 cherries can produce fairly quick. As long as your water parameters are good and they are happy you can see babies in 1-2 months. Make sure to provide a lot of hiding places for the shrimplets. Fish love to snack on the babies
@@PoseidonsPets Oh ok thanks :D - Is it enough if Iam using Java moss all over my fish tank? Iam also using other types of plants but i don't know their names anymore w.w
The lights I used were grow lights from Home Depot. They had a mounting bracket for screw in mounts, I simply zip tied the lights to the bottom side of the shelf above.

Looking good! Brand new shrimp room nice and shiny, lots of space to expand. Very happy for you mate
Thank you! I’m excited for the future. Already planning on moving shrimp around and splitting my crossbreeding tanks

@@ShrimpMania sorry to hear that! Are you going to move the tanks elsewhere or setup that shed you spoke of? 😉
@@PoseidonsPets Well I'm working on it right now, hopefully I can come up with something
Looking good . All coming together nicely. You deserve it buddy.
Thanks Jamie. Appreciate it!
My arm doesn't wobble wobble, it folds 🤣🤣🤣 and use the tank is my absolute advice
😂
Project is really coming together and Looking good Kyle!!!
Thanks Tim!

Thanks! I’ve had plenty of time to plan it out and I’m still learning as I go lol! There’s things I would have done differently to start.

@@pelhamsaquatics absolutely! It doesn’t help that I’m constantly trying to reinvent the wheel lol
I wouldn't lose sleep using the tank
That’s what I was thinking. This videos a few weeks old so who knows. Maybe I risked it. Maybe I didn’t 😉
Love the moss. I’m starting my first rack. I just got 8 10gal $5 each Facebook marketplace. Also petco tank sale this month.
Nice! That’s always fun. Keep me updated on how it goes

@@PoseidonsPets honestly it's not worth the risk :) you'll be thinking about it nightly heh, 40g 40g 40g!!
@@RWAquariumPages I’d have to break the 29 gallon down too to do a 40 gal lol. Idk if I’m ready for that!
@@PoseidonsPets Can you imagine a rack full of 40 gallon tanks

Mangroves are cool. I could do something like that in the salt tank I setup too

What air pump are you using on the rack?? And how many tanks will it supply?
Currently using the pawfly 350 gph. It powers 4 tanks but I don’t like going more then 3. I want lots of water flow for aeration
How did you lose your blue calceo?
I still have a few, they have been dying off after the move, hopefully I get some babies soon and I can save the colony
@@PoseidonsPets I wish you the best of luck with them, they are beautiful!
@@oakharts thank you! I’m hoping for the best 😊
Why u put top cover on the tanks and did u make those urself 😘😘😘
It helps with evaporation and keeping contaminants out of the tanks. I did make them myself. I had a piece of plexiglass lying around I cut to size
How did you mount your lights?

@@PoseidonsPets sweet
I would fill it and foget it my 110 has more than one chip 😂
Lol, I’ve had mixed answers. Most people who have multiple tanks are saying see what happens 😂
Looking good!
I dont think i would use that tank, maybe only fill it 50-70%? if you do wanna use it
Thanks! I’m excited for everything. That 20g is sketchy but I think it should hold! Lol
