I just survived the suicide of my mother. I don't have a lot of good memories of her. I went through a lot with her. But, I loved her. I've been torn apart over and over again. She always told me I was nothing. She made problems for her herself that she didn't need. She wanted everyone to hate her. But I didn't. Now she's gone.
You did a great job with your edit. Rocket reduces me to rubble because of his near mirrored life to mine.

Rocket is easily my favourite movie character of all time. This was edited beautifully, packed full of emotion and it’s absolutely perfect. This is probably my favourite edit ever.

I still remember the first time I saw a Guardians trailer... I thought it looked great except for the weird talking raccoon and goofy looking tree. Then the movie came out, and turns out they were the *best* thing in the movie!
This is such a beautiful tribute to Rocket. He's got so much heart buried underneath all his "I don't care" attitude. Wonderful job picking these scenes. ♥️
At first I thought it was just a super fantasy movie but later I came across it and realized that I got the emotional feel from this single movie which is not available in all mcu movies.

Every one of the Guardians are so wounded. Yondu saying "You _are_ me". Broke my heart for both of them. Yondu's PARENTS sold him into slavery. And Rocket was brutalized in every way you could think of. It makes me so sad.

Rocket lost the only family he ever had and was alone dealing with their deaths for five years, imagine the relief and joy he had to see all of them once again
He has others in his life...they just haven't made it to the big screen yet...unless we are to believe that Ronan or Thanos killed them. He's not the only one they created...

omg wow this is amazing. Everyone does just see him as a comedic character so it’s great that you showed another side to him. Videos like these are my favourite types of videos; videos where it shows you the depth and emotion of a character, with such elegant editing to go with it. I adore this!!!

GlamourStar0x So many times when people are listing their favorite character from the MCU I'm always thinking Rocket is my favorite. He's been my favorite since I first saw the first Guardians of the Galaxy. Over the years as we've seen him grow as a character it just pushed him farther up my list from the rest of the characters in my eyes. I know it's not likely to happen but I would love to see a movie where they do like an origin story just about Rocket.

Rocket is such an underrated caracter, he is described as mean but he is so sensitive! yes, it takes a while for him to let you in but when he does he would never let you go (espessially Groot). Personally Rocket is my favorite caracter.

The CGI was really brilliant. They put a whole range of emotions on Rocket's face and each expression really hits you. If you play this on silent, with or without closed caps, you can still feel it.

There's only one character that can get close to Tony Stark levels of popularity and adoration from Marvel fans. And he's definitely not a Build•A•Bear.
He's a frikkin Guardian of the Galaxy.
Rocket is one of my favorites. Not only his humor, but the fact that he has stayed so strong throughout the entire time. He never found out where he came from, only to be an experiment in the beginning. He made friends with Groot, his best friend, who would later sacrifice his life for Rocket and his friends. He would come back and then disappear with the rest of his friends, one of them thrown off a cliff by her father. Rocket didn’t have anyone besides Nebula, who he didn’t really like in the beginning, for five years. And now that they’re back, he’s still moving on with life.
When I was a kid, I always loved Raccoons, and thought that what if there was a Raccoon with a machine gun, that can talk, and saves lives, my wish came true when Marvel introduced me to Rocket, my all time favorite Guardian, I cried when I watched this honestly

Rocket is such a complex character! And yes there is the writing, animation, editing, etc., but Cooper's voice talent is at least as important as all that other in portraying the sheer pain of the little guy. Rocket's backstory arc goes from the soul of innocence, a sweet, tiny woodland creature unencumbered by the demands of genius, technology, conflict and evolved society, into someone who considers himself an ugly, tortured freak of nature, unloved and unlovely in any sense, producing an animus for all other beings, second only to his towering intellect. His unlooked-for discovery of 'family' in the depths of his self-loathing and pain is one of the sweeter aspects of the story, and Cooper's accessing of that emotion in delivering those lines, brings it down to a gut level for a grateful audience.
This is too beautiful!! I just can't deal ;_; Rocket is so underrated for how complex of a character he truly is!! He and Groot also have my fave father/son/brothers relationship in MARVEL and this video inspires to me to actually, finally (maybe) make a edit for them!! ^^ Also I would love to see a humour Rocket video from!! To be honest tho, I would be happy seeing any video from you since they are all absolute perfection!!

it took Yondu's strong words to make Rocket realize that he needed to put his past behind him. & that his friends, the other Guardians were the best thing to happen in his life.
I can really see that Groot was Rockets best friends like he is mean to everyone except Groot, The first time we saw Rocket cry was when Groot protected them from getting hurt and sacrifices himself to protect them and when rocket had 3 twigs from Groot:(
He lost everyone in infinity war: Gamora, Quill , Mantis, Groot and Drax he saw groot “die” 2 times :( that must have been tough..

This is just wonderful. Is si seldom that somone focuses on his deeper character. He lost his friends and family so often. I often think about that.. he had such a hard life, but he didn't give up.
When i saw the last Avangers movie i thought "He looks so defeated. What kind of pain must this be to always lose the people you love.." I was kinda dissapointed that they didn't show how they all got together again. He deserves happy moments :(

out of all the fan made stuff this one was probably the most hard hitting.
We all lose someone that was so special to us that we cared about so much it leaves a hole inside of your heart that you try to cover up and hide, some of us act fine and happy others act mean and cold. But those kind of people, people like me were the most broken of them all, because we lost that one person that keeps us sane and happy.

in my opinion Rocket,Yondu and Loki are easily the most broken of the MCU characters.But the fact that theyre broken doesnt stop them from moving forward.Yes Bucky went through some fucked up shit and like Rocket was also experimented on.But Rocket lost Groot twice and had to deal with all the guardians being gone for 5 years.The only family he had was gone in an instant. This edit hit deep. That part where rocket said he didnt ask to be made,you could feel the emotion from Bradley Cooper's voice.
