SLG’s are wonderful in moderation enough to rotate to help longevity. Not everyone desires to collect overly expensive handbags. I love to carry luxury SLG’s with moderately priced quality handbags. To each his own.
Chanel pricing has been absolutely ridiculous these days, at this point it’s annoying.
Right? At this point, I just refuse on principle.
What a great video. I def. agree with your thoughts about SLG’s and the prices. Thanks for covering this topic in detail. I have more than enough SLG’s in my collection but I like rotating them even though they are time consuming. Your limited edition Dior cardholder is so pretty! Take care.
Strangely enough the difference in price between small stuff and bigger stuff is often times not that big. And for wallets especially I feel like one good practical wallet can last you a very long time. Also
it’s annoying to change your cards from wallet to wallet and I assure you that you’ll always end up going back to the one that you find the most practical.
Giving wise advices for future purchases! It was interesting to listen to your reasoning and the price comparisons. It puts things into perspective

I really like the Kirigami set. The small one fits cards, the medium is perfect for passport and tickets&vouchers and the large one fits an A4 folded in half, so very good for documents.
Totally agree! That Kelly wallet could only be justified to me if you don’t own any compact wallets, cardholders or anything. If you know yourself that you won’t cave later on then okay. But the SLG addiction is so real so spending over 1K on an SLG is tooooo much.

I have a long wallet, a card case, a chunky, holds everything & has a zippered coin purse wallet, & a wristlet flap card case, all in neutral colors. Covers all my bases, & my budget is free for BAGS. 😍
I loved this video! I feel the same as you! Although just use your niece bb and don’t worry about it. If it gets a spot it will patina and look great. I use mine every day. The recto verso I nearly bought but it was just stupid money xx
You have some very good points on these slg’s . They are way over priced. I have a few because I like to rotate my wallets etc ( I know you hate to rotate your slg’s as you stated in a previous video.) However, rotating your slg’s is a good think in my humble opinion, because it keeps your leather items from getting over worn, or damaged. Know what I mean?

Totally agree with you here! SLGs are super cute and I want all of them but if I don't buy them, I can buy a bag instead which I think is more worth it 🙂

Hello! I needed this video. I’ve been buying Chanel SLG to satisfy me because I haven’t been about to find the bag I really want.
You can buy whatever you want if you love the items) but I don’t think we need that many slg’s 😄
If you dread switching purses you should definitely use little pouches. It makes it soooooooo much easier.

SLG’s are so cute so we try to justify collecting them but I totally agree that they are not necessary to have so many. I have some that I’ve only used a few times and I feel bad having them sit in my closet or drawers. I know now what works for my lifestyle so I will not add anymore since I feel I have more than enough to last my lifetime 😅
SLG's are waste of money if you have more than you need! i totally agree! i like cardholders better and my key holder from LV...i still have my round coin purse from LV, too!

I buy SLG but not from designers & if I want designer I go preloved because I already found really good stuff, new & at a lower price.

As a guy, SLGs is all i can buy so unless I buy a bag from the men's collection then SLG's are my only option.

I personally only buy SLG’s when I need them too (I only have 2 wallets & a pouch), I always figured I’d buy the bags (most expensive items on my wish list) first & then worry about if I have a use or any desire for SLG’s later.

I don’t have anything against gay marriage) Our closest family friend is gay, in a relationship and so what? It doesn’t make him any different from others) my UA-cam analytics shows gender stats and there is a tiny little percent - literally 1% of men, that’s why I assumed that men aren’t watching my channel😀 I’m glad I was wrong though❤️ and sorry if you got offended, didn’t mean it)
