It's their AU it doesn't need to strictly stick to canon so in their AU they are replacements their is no need to stay canon. But I didn't know this about canon so thanks!
That's wrong, because molten Freddy in Security breach is animatronic fused into one animatronic, and you can see the original 4 fused into molten Freddy. So that's wrong but you had a good theory

Don’t let comments say what is “cannon” or “not cannon” stop you from making your AU. It is your AU after all and nothing should stop you from creating anything you want.
I love AUs best they are unique to an individual also no one should be forced to explain anything about their AU(s). That is why I like this fandom barely anything is conformed and that can help lead to interpretation.
If you have a problem with someone’s AU or something then you don’t have to watch it.
Except if everybody has the same damn AU

Canon is for example, Freddy is canon because he is apart of the main game.
All of the fangames are non-canon because they are not corporated into the main series in any way.
Another example is, if somebody makes a story based on something. That story isn't considered canon unless the official owner of the story says so.
It's only considered canon if the main creator agrees that it needs to be apart of the storyline.

I like you au everyone is changing it because the game came out and a lot of lore not saying that’s wrong I just think it’s weird to change your au to make it more “canon” and i love how sunny looks
what wrong with making your au more canon? it just makes it a bit more accurate to the game, and 9 times outta 10, people put their own tiny twists to it, while keeping it close to canon, so it aint fully the same as the game.

A few things, i know this may be your au, and i respect it, but, aus normally try to be as canonical as possible, if you are trying to do that then keep reading
1- sunnydrop (i call it sunrise, but i learnt to respect the ones that like the nickname despite i dont find any meaning to it myself) and moondrop are firstly the same animatronic, and secondly their names are sun and moon, thats all, also sun is a man
2- i dont think this has been proved, but there are a lot of chances that golden is fredbear so when he is turning on would be a great detail that it said (fredbear.exe turning on) instead of (golden freddy.exe turning on)
3- the glamrock are not replacement, as the originals arent even scraps in the time of the glamrocks, and even if they were, only freddy and chica would, as roxanne and montgomery, despite being bassed on foxy and bonnie respectively, are new animatronic types and they are even alive without souls, well, freddy is (althought i think he has a soul inside, but it fused with the complex program of glamrock freddy, thats why he wasnt affected by the hack)
Ps: about the sunnydrop name, i dont know from where it came out, i guess because people started calling moondrop to moon so when they saw sun they put a similar nickname, not hating but if we are gonna put s nickname we should make visible that duality they have, sunrise as the rise of the sun, the light and joy
And moondrop as the drop of the moon, the darkness and fear
They are total counterparts, while sunrise is normally a very cheerful one, that loves kids, moondrop is totally the opposite, seems like he hates kids and more when they dont go to bed in they hour?
Of course, you can just ignore all i said, but please at least consider the nickname to sun, because i think its personality is more of a "sunrise" description
Sundrop and Moondrop come from their respective candies as seen in the posters nearby the daycare bathrooms, and other places-
