Oh, and if you are at all interested in the magnificent Skoda Yeti I have a blog all about my little beauty: www.skodayeti....
And my video of 5 HORRIBLE Czech foods: ua-cam.com/video/UoTmCTvD0eI/v-deo.html
Honorary mention (not exactly an invention): the word "pistol" (gun) comes from medieval Czech word "píšťala" (flute) for a handcannon.
I didn't know that, thank you for this. And thank you also for watching my video and for leaving your comment.

Thank you for this piece of quite important piece of information that I did not know. I wonder how many Czechs also don't know this.
@@brit-in-czech only those who likes to read comments I suppose. ") I remember that I was learned that at basic school but I did love to read so it was easy to me remembered such information.
but Wikipedia says karl Landsteiner from Austria invented blood groups not Czechs
KL found three basic blood groups. Mr Jansky, Czech, few years later, but found all, means 4.
Yes. That is right.
But he did not discover all of them.

A video about Jan Janský, which contains an explanation of who discovered blood types and when.
@@brit-in-czech He also invented rulers how each one reacts with the other. Before it was a huge risk.
