How to make a WatchMojo video in three steps! 1. Choose a main category. Movies, Video Games or some kind of pointless item, such as an apple. 2. Choose if it is going to be the best or the worse list (or something similar) for your main category! 3. When you ran out of ideas revolving step 1 and 2, do the same list in a new location. Now you have your endless amount of WatchMojo videos! An example might be "Top 10 apples in Norway" PS! If you want to save time, do not make the videos in HD. 480p or less is the way to go!
I think that maybe taken 2 could be a better option because taken is mainly the father in search for the daughter, on other hand taken 2 the daughter and father work together to save the mother and himself.
I'm rather disappointed that "instructions not included" wasn't even an honorable mention, that was a beautiful movie that shot at the heart and hit its mark. One of the best father daughter movies ever.
Really? No Interstellar? At all? That movie was praised for being a Father Daughter movie as well as an adventure movie. Where is that? The relationship is the driving force of the movie!
Summarizing "The Little Mermaid": Selfish, rebellious teenager goes against her father's wishes and eventually abandons her entire family - and sells her soul - just so that she can try to marry a guy she doesn't even know...but has only seen. I agree with "Beauty & the Beast", "Aladdin" and "Mulan", tho. "Pocahontas" given an honorable mention.
Karen Fahel You've got a point. Both Pocahontas and Mulan should have been mentioned. P.S: I still love The Little Mermaid, especially the ending (talking about father & daughter).
***** Oh? Belle sacrifices herself for her father, and also stands up for her father in the town. Both of these issues are the main points of the story. Mulan wouldn't have gotten in to the mess she did - and there would have been no story - if it weren't for her relationship with her father. Likewise Pocahontas. All three of them, their relationships with their fathers were the key points and the driving forces for each story.
This was a great list, but I think that To Kill a Mockingbird should have been mentioned. That was very much a father-daughter movie. Plus, it is a classic.
Steve Carell just plays an amazing dad, to boys or girls. You feel like he really is a dedicated father in real life and that he draws from that for these rolls
eep & grug's relationship in The Croods is a very potent daughter/father relationship, even tho it's not the only theme of the film - shame it didn't get a mention :(
Definitly maybe is one of my fave non action Ryan Reynolds movies ever, well that & the Proposal. How about Mother's & daughter's next, cuz we all know there is a shit load of those.

Iakopa Monte ....the movie was awful. But seriously, Mark Wahlberg is 43, how is he not old enough to have a teenager? There are people in their 30's with highschoolers.
I personally this Grug & Eep from 'The Croods' is a god father-daugter movie. (Spoilers) It starts with Eep being a rebel teen & Grug been waaay to over protective. As the film goes on, as Eep & Guy seem more for each other, you can see how Grug 8s trying to 'keep' his 'little girl' from grpwing up, though he wont admit it till later in the movie where he finally accepts change & Eep having to do her own thing, as well as not being so protective over everyone (im ttying to explain it. Dont judge me) I think thats a good father-daughter movie
I wish there was an honorable mention for "Taken." I know there wasn't much interaction between Lliam Neesons character and his daughter.... but traveling the globe to get your daughter back is power lol.
Guys at Mojo. you really miss No Instructions Included/No se aceptan devoluciones. It´s a very beautiful story about an unexpert dad and her daughter dealing with the mother who left when the girl was born. It´s directed by Eugenio Derbez. You should watch it and consider it for the next one ;)
I very recently finished watching a foreign father-daughter movie: Best Foreign Film Oscar winner Burnt by the Sun. Anyone else seen it or heard of it?
Interstellar is kinda a father daughter movie
There are two father and daughter scenarios!
Agree!
but, it kinda sucked
P

Fuck off you begging piece of shit. Are likes the only thing you live for?
Mojoholic No, quite frankly. There is only one reason to why I post it, to get butthurt people like you mad.
Mojoholic, my god (smh).
aleksi503 So you're a Dovregubben? Cute.
That's kinda the point of the videos lol
Mojoholic If find it even cuter that you had to write Dovregubben, instead of troll.
Taken or Taken 2 has got to be on this list or *I would find you......*
I think that maybe taken 2 could be a better option because taken is mainly the father in search for the daughter, on other hand taken 2 the daughter and father work together to save the mother and himself.
True.
ZOD!!
I love Liam Neeson and taken is awesome but I agree Taken 2 would make a better choice for this list. I'm so watching Taken 3 who's with me
Maria Benitez They are making a Taken 3? Since when? Is there a teaser or trailer for it?
Wish I had a dad :( this movie just makes me depressed
agree with u
Guess we are on the same plane
"i am Sam" Should be in Top-10 List. It's an adorable Father-Daughter relationship.
And what about taken?
The Game Plan was an underrated film. Disney outdid themselves with that one.
They can't use any footage from the movie because it's too new; so it wasn't considered for the list.
Top 10s 'N' Tributes Then wait a couple of months to do this video, I think.
no, ps. it wasnt really that good
*****
Explain why you don't think it was good, then I won't consider you a worthless troll.
Top 10s 'N' Tributes
Shame. I think it would have made at least #7.
I wonder if at one point they considered "Taken" to be part of this list.
3 Disney films, for me, are missing: The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast and Aladdin (the Sultan and Jasmine, of course).
Mulan?
Summarizing "The Little Mermaid": Selfish, rebellious teenager goes against her father's wishes and eventually abandons her entire family - and sells her soul - just so that she can try to marry a guy she doesn't even know...but has only seen. They dont revolve solely around their relationship so no.
***** Oh? Belle sacrifices herself for her father, and also stands up for her father in the town. Both of these issues are the main points of the story. I was really crossing my fingers for Instructions Not Included. But it's a pretty unknown movie so it's okay :P
So was I lol
What do you mean unknown that thing won an oscar........ Or at least I thinks so....
That movie is so OVERRATED here in Mexico that many of us kinda hate it
Angel Chavez Unknown in the States at least for the most part xD
00lifeisforliving00 Really? xD
This was a great list, but I think that To Kill a Mockingbird should have been mentioned. That was very much a father-daughter movie. Plus, it is a classic.
Love how Steve Carell is on here three times he's my fave
It's awesome seeing Hanna on the list. Such a brilliant and underrated film.
Steve Carell just plays an amazing dad, to boys or girls. You feel like he really is a dedicated father in real life and that he draws from that for these rolls
Daddy's Little Girls was a great father daughter movie can't believe you left that one out. :(
I like how Steve Carrel is on this list 3 times.
What about Saving Mr. Banks? The father daughter relationship was what drove the movie. It was truly touching.
Why I am Sam is not there!? That movie deserves more than a honorable mention!
Forgotten Darth Vader's daughter you have. =))
Can you really call Star Wars a father/daughter film?
There's one other Father and Daughter movie you forgot about.
Disney's The Little Mermaid. With Ariel and her Father, King Triton.
Mike my Dads coworker was more of a father than he was. Mike walked me down the isle. Thank you Mike. He died at 70. This year. 💔
Man, Steve Carell has been in a lot of daughter dad movies
eep & grug's relationship in The Croods is a very potent daughter/father relationship, even tho it's not the only theme of the film - shame it didn't get a mention :(
They should have. Love that movie. :D
'Instructions not included' is probably the best father and daughter movie I've ever watched!
If the "The last of us" movie is done right (which I really hope it will be), it will so top this list
God I miss my Dad. D:
Definitly maybe is one of my fave non action Ryan Reynolds movies ever, well that & the Proposal. How about Mother's & daughter's next, cuz we all know there is a shit load of those.

I thought Kick Ass could have been on the list.
I dont know why Annie wasnt Number 1 in this top ten, its already the Number 1 movie of the year...
It's not even out where I am..
I hope you're talking about the original...
(I'm not racist, I am a black guy myself). The new Annie is shite
ellis lamai A movie is a movie, you can say it's shit without any filters
javis88h I said that because of the controversy over Annie being black. So giving the film flack allows for you to be called a racist.
Steve Carrel is the king of father-daughter movies.

Transformers Age of Extinction. I mean all Cade wanted to do was keep Tessa safe!
Have a think about that comment...
Mark Wahlberg playing dad to a high school teenager daughter in the movie was not believeable..... if Wahlberg was swapped with an older actor
Lel
Yeah but it was terrible
Iakopa Monte ....the movie was awful. But seriously, Mark Wahlberg is 43, how is he not old enough to have a teenager? There are people in their 30's with highschoolers.
The father-daughter relationship in Interstellar made me cry
Where's Annie and instructions not included
10:00
"I'm falling, down into my shadow holding in my every breath."
Instruction Not Included should be part of it because, well for such a sad and heartwarming ending.
I knew that Father of the Bride was going to be #1! Such a great movie
Moneyball?? Not entirely centred in father daughterness but it's a hell of a movie and the relationship they have is amazing.
Instructions Not Included! Loved that film! All about the love between a father and daughter.
I vote for The New Daughter as my favorite Father /Daughter movie. I love Kevin Cosner in that movie!
Make an "top 10 father and son movies", "top 10 mother and daughter movies" and "top 10 mother and son movies".
my favorite is father and Daughter is Despicable me
cant believe i am sam is just an honourable mention!
What about Kick-Ass? It may not be father and daughter movie per se but is sure has an usual father-daughter relationship. :)
For video games if you do a Father and Son, Ignitus and Spyro from the Legend of Spyro series should be at least an honorable mention.
Instructions not included! I love that movie! :D
Another great list, Watchmojo! Keep it up!
I personally this Grug & Eep from 'The Croods' is a god father-daugter movie.
(Spoilers)
It starts with Eep being a rebel teen & Grug been waaay to over protective. I think thats a good father-daughter movie
And where was Taken?
I am Sam should be #1.. or at least be in the top 10
This list taught me that Steve Carell is an epic dad.
*quietly walks up to my dad and hugs him*
They should have done Parent Trap
WHERE'S THE MOVIE CALLED HOURS
College road trip should have been in honorable mentions!!!
im surprised hotel Transylvania didnt make this list or not even a special mention = -= didnt get to vote :< so boo
way out of left field, but i think 'Interstellar' deserves a spot on this list.
Honourable mention for What A Girl Wants but not A Little Princess?
Can you do list of Mother/Daughter and Mother/Son movies?
Definitely maybe
I fine with the choice you pick. But what about "Instruction not include"? If you all haven't seeing this movie. Do it! It should be in the top 5.
What about "instructions not included"
WHERE IS TAKEN/TAKEN 2????
Gameplan made me cry so much as a kid...
No instructions included was the best movie i have seen in years. certainly worth adding to the list!
Where is Taken 1 or 2
I wish there was an honorable mention for "Taken." I know there wasn't much interaction between Lliam Neesons character and his daughter.... but traveling the globe to get your daughter back is power lol.

Guys at Mojo. you really miss No Instructions Included/No se aceptan devoluciones. It´s a very beautiful story about an unexpert dad and her daughter dealing with the mother who left when the girl was born. It´s directed by Eugenio Derbez. You should watch it and consider it for the next one ;)
why is "instructions not included" on the list
Where is taken?! How come they missed that movie?! also Taken 2, Father and daughter having a teamwork, though. They should've put these movies!
I very recently finished watching a foreign father-daughter movie: Best Foreign Film Oscar winner Burnt by the Sun. Anyone else seen it or heard of it?
Hit girl and her dad in kickass
Went to see Interstellar with my dad, bad idea, tears everywhere!
You could added Bryan and Kim's bond and team work in the second Taken movie as an honorable mention
What's my favourite father daughter film. Kick ass
Where is Taken?
What about Taken, Taken 2 and possibly Taken 3?
How is "I am Sam" not 1st place?
