When they said that she had changed, she was evolving. When they said she did not care anymore, she finally realized that her peace lives within.

just a guess, but i don't think Tolle worries too much about things, plus he's never very far from bliss, none of us really are, just our thinking minds ever trying to confuse the simple, but in his case bliss & deepening bliss is probably always just a breath or 2 away?

(alarm stops)..oh, unfortunately it has stopped..." more laughter, & u could just feel the peace & acceptance in this mans being, no quarrels with even a car alarm.

You woke something up that has always been in me. I went from Christianity, and it's limitations, symbolisms, to nothing but whatever tickled my fancy. Suffering, more suffering, and then some more. Here I stand 11 years later, and somehow it circled back, and I see it woven throughout everyone and everything. I see it in me. I see it in others, and I feel more love than I have in a long time. I have even been to church a few times, and taken my grandbaby. It was not afraid it was going to get me again, that experience showed me something. I see grace in me, it is not separate now, and neither is God, the Universe, The Great Unknown, or whatever...I am not above or below anything, I am! Time would fail me to try and explain - Thank you!

In the 11 years since my son was born and in the 8 since me and his mother separated for the last time in Hamburg after a terrible fight and relapse to drinking and marijuana dependency on my part, this has been the first Xmas we've all spent together. No drink or or drugs were necessary for me to actively participate and enjoy the day and apart from a hitch where my inner critic roared into action over some slightly acidic cheese fondue I behaved with love and felt a semblance of this inner dimension of spaciousness that you're so beautifully describing 🌈🏵️ty

Yes I feel your right . Personally looking at Religion is of similar values to try and keep order or safe control and prevent unhappiness. It seems to follow the Spice and clothing trade routes. And gets changed by Kings, Governments or Leaders with time and environment. But values are the same when not distorted by ego.
Ego or unconscious people. Looking at history drugs and alcohol where used by there leaders. Insane vs Sane . Normal or abnormal . I think I will stick to walking nature , keep a calm smile and drive slower for yes post covid restrictions life is faster and more complex effecting productive time . lots of lining up going nowhere disfunctional and not concious and definitely not present in anything .
I PRAISE JESUS! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I will keep faith. I get harassed and called names simply for sharing my testimony and asking for prayers. But prayers are all I WANT. I fell on hard times because I was fired from my job as a social worker at Forsyth Hospital because I declined the vaccine. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I wish I could go back to the hospital but unfortunately the mandate is still in place all hospitals workers must be vaccinated against covid 19 for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing AND I’m SO THANKFUL, but I’m not making nearly as much as I use too. My husband died years ago. I’m all alone, As a single mother with two autistic children things are so overwhelming on me because my boys require a lot from me. Every month is a struggle to pay bills and to put food on the table. BUT our Heavenly Father gives me courage to not give up because I want to. I’m so discouraged but even as I face homelessness almost every month and even as I get put down and mocked because of my situation and choice. I will keep faith in God! He has provided this far. I had a similar beautiful experience last night. Winding down after the family Christmas celebration I became attentive soft singing from the street. It came into my room, so I opened the window and heard that a family touchingly sang one of the most beautiful Christmas songs on the street togerher...how touching, I smiled🙂 It completely conveyed the True message of Christmas; the Gift of the birth of the Lord Jesus and the power of His infinite Love🙏which is in the Transcendent silence. The only True power that brings change to this world. 🧘♀️

You can think about the past, can't you? And you can think about the future too. But you can't think about now, because it is too short. Way shorter than a split second. It is both time and timelessness. It is where Paradise is hidden, because thought cannot conquer it. Now, if we are sad or angry about the past, or if we are afraid of or longing for something in the future, we are already abandoning Paradise. Now, we shouldn't do that. Paradise can deal way better with our past and our future than we can! But, this is such a hard discipline! The toughest training that exists. But you do make progress, if you train constantly, without being aware of it. As a human being, I need time to explain this to other human beings. That's why my words can't possibly reveal Paradise. And that is a blessing. Because nobody, not I, nor Eckhart, can take away your joy of discovering Paradise directly, without any teacher or guru coming in between. Every person deserves an intimate relationship with Paradise. That's why every religious theory or philosophical doctrine contains a flaw or paradox, so that no one can explain what Paradise is to another person. It has to reveal itself in the secrecy of your soul. The American Indians have a beautiful way of making that clear. There, it is considered that each individual has been endowed with a unique gift, and therefore knows a secret, that nobody else knows. This way of picturing things enhances the mutual respect and awe between the members of the tribe. Every member is irreplaceable. No one can be missed. And every person should love and be loved. Ugh.

You can think about the past, can't you? And you can think about the future too. But you can't think about now, because it is too short. Way shorter than a split second. It is both time and timelessness. It is where Paradise is hidden, because thought cannot conquer it. Now, if we are sad or angry about the past, or if we are afraid of or longing for something in the future, we are already abandoning Paradise. Now, we shouldn't do that. Paradise can deal way better with our past and our future than we can! But, this is such a hard discipline! The toughest training that exists. But you do make progress, if you train constantly, without being aware of it. As a human being, I need time to explain this to other human beings. That's why my words can't possibly reveal Paradise. And that is a blessing. Because nobody, not I, nor Eckhart, can take away your joy of discovering Paradise directly, without any teacher or guru coming in between. Every person deserves an intimate relationship with Paradise. That's why every religious theory or philosophical doctrine contains a flaw or paradox, so that no one can explain what Paradise is to another person. It has to reveal itself in the secrecy of your soul. The American Indians have a beautiful way of making that clear. There, it is considered that each individual has been endowed with a unique gift, and therefore knows a secret, that nobody else knows. This way of picturing things enhances the mutual respect and awe between the members of the tribe. Every member is irreplaceable. No one can be missed. And every person should love and be loved. Ugh.
