Hey Paul, see in event planning experience is considered first than any certification ,but for working as a corporate events Planner why not you start with getting a basic diploma certification in event planning (this will give you industry exposure & opportunity to work on corporate events) then you can work for any corporate event planning companies to get experience & then I am sure you can definitely start working as a corporate events Planner.
