Gotta love Juniors. They have that X factor. Good once have great sustain. Without neck pickup to dampen strings and with that crucial peace of wood where SG's get thin because of neck pickup routing, they can freely resonate. Awesome guitars. Love all of the variants to be honest. Almost bought Eastman DC Junior. It was great one. But I have had money for another guitar and there was simply no room for two guitars. I hope I will find such a good one again and when I have enough money to get it :) Dream, for me, would be real 1961 SG Junior. But in Europe they are way to expensive and rare.
sweet one mate! is it possible to do "surf testing" with singlecoil models esp on the bridge pup? it would be great to include that in your sound tests....
I may be biased but anything, and I mean anything with a p90 is probably going to work for me. That and a plexi on 10 (kemper on 4, shhh :-) made my pedalboard basically vanish.
This is one of the few Junior demos where the guitar doesn’t sound out of tune/poorly-intonated. Lovely tones. But that’s the thing that has me concerned about buying one. I know I can get a MusicCity bridge, but it’s weird that so many praise this guitar even while it sounds like garbage in their hands. I just wish Gibson made them in more colors other than at Custom Shop prices. Pelham Blue or Tv yellow would be had to resist, as I already have a cherry SG Standard….
I can sort of see the colour thing... but they weren't a big seller. Which is the reasoning for the single colour option before they were discontinued. Currently the only way to get one new is through the Made2Measure Program as they aren't available through the regular Custom Shop. Intonating a wrap around bridge can be tricky and is usually one of those "It's intonated enough for me" kind of things. The Lightining Bar makes it easier to get things intimated, rather than the Non-Compensated wraparound from the Les Paul Juniors and Specials. Cheers -Ryan
Great playing!

@ thank you, sir.
Metal was invented on that guitar, C# tuning, cranck a marshall with a booster on the front... keep calm and play Iommi Riffs....
