I’m not sure if you read the entire series but the Older Thanos stated that he feared this version of the Silver Sufer, even with cosmic Ghost Rider help. That’s why older Thanos had brought the younger to the far future to help him kill this Surfer. Also Silver Surfer has lost so many times to Thanos in a one on one fight BADLY!! This is why this version of Silver Surfer became incredibly powerful. Not only did he have Mjolnir, he also had control of the Annihilation wave and was all black, signifying the necro-sword was a part of him. But that wasn’t mentioned for sure in this series. Remember, Thanos in MCU and the Comics are vastly different.
