I was supporting vidit after him losing in many chess events and I will still support him for future tournaments/events but it's again heartbreaking for me and for all chess fans in india. 💔
Vidit, Gukesh, Pragg
Its their first candidates guys!
Fighting against Nepo, Hikaru and Fabi.
They have come a long way.
Gukesh leading till 11th Round still a huge achivement. We will surely have an Indian world champion in coming years.
Support them!
from winning to draw and worst losing that's bad luck
All hopes on Gukesh
VD might not win it, but he definitely played the most exciting chess of all the 8! Respect!
Well Gukesh still has a chance and today he has a game against nijat which increases his chances of winning by several folds... and pragg on a good day can beat nepo... I mean it's tough but possible.. For vidit..... it's always heartbreaking to lose but losing a winning position is extremely heartbreaking. Had he won he would have joined the leaders but instead he is out of the tourney. Thus I don't think vidit will have that mindset today against caruana to go all out against him to win but instead for caruana its a must win game thus he will do everything to win today. Hence psychologically I think caruana will have an edge over VD today and he might end up winning the game as well.
Nijat hasn't lost any game with white yet. He always plays safe and kills the game early on. Winning against will almost be impossible for guki so I don't really think any of the indian players have any chance anymore.
Pragg and Vidit result this round unfortunately put Gukesh's position in risk as well 🤦
💔
Gukesh's Draw 4:03
Prag loses 7:49
Vidit loses 9:33
