Great job on letting the rest of us dream about the good old days of big iron! No DEF, just black smoke when the going gets tough. You do a fantastic job putting these videos together. Thanks
@@bigtractorpower I've used 3 tractors. A 9370 Qaudtrack, 340 Magnum, And a MX 220. The 340 probably the most cause of the Auto Steer it has better fuel economy, But going across rows the Qaudtrack Rides the best. Its the 30 foot model and the MX 220 pulls it fairly easily if the ground is dry.
Ya we are from south western Illinois and the rain last fall was bad we only got 150 or so acres worked out of the 900+ we farm and we just got done planting all our crops about 2 days ago but ya the rain was bad this year for flooding us out. Oh and by the way when you was a the Kentucky farm show me and my uncle saw you but we turned cause I wanted to meet welkers farm and then we turned back around and you was gone but he really likes this channel and so do I but I also like your other channel toy tractor times and I’ve been wanting to go to a toy show but by time I find out the dates it’s to late. Anyway Keep the Great work up. - Thank you
I have a 4100 rts Salford. Watching this fellow, he is not going as fast as he should, but the tractor is a bit underpowered. The tillage implement also needs to be leveled.
The 9400 really put John Deere on the map in 4wds. When the 425 hp 9400 came out it was the first time John Deere had the biggest tractor on the market. Case IH had a 400 hp 9380 at the time and very soon a 425 hp 9390 was released.
Nice video :) I would like to see a video of how you introduce yourself to " New to you " farmers when asking permission to film their operation :) understandably such a video might be impossible due to the fact that you keep others faces off camera for their privacy but if there's any way to make such a video it might serve as a good teaching tool for others wanting to do the same as you :) Thanks for the content and your time
Love your videos, Now I have a question. What advantages does large 4wd tractor of this size compare with a smaller fixed frame 4wd of equal hp? Like the JD 8400 vs JD 9420, or any similar brand of Tractor. Thank You, you doing a great job.
It is a 4894. That was the key reason I was at the field. I drove 363 miles one way to film the Case. It’s a rare 4wd. The 9100 was a bonus plus an 8960 and 9430 working in the same field. Stay tuned....
Those shift levers seem so far away from the operator kinda like some of the 40/50/55/60 series had some with them further away. Of course I think we're spoiled with all the controls on the right armrest for so many pieces of equipment (tractors, combines, self-propelled forage harvesters & sprayers, etc)
Tractors have changed allot in the past 20 years. Allot of the levers used to be less handy than this 9100. With the 9100 was starting to group everything with in easy reach. The new joy stick controls really make operation easy.

I like seeing a little coal roll in the field.
One of the best looking tractors ever in my opinion.
Thanks for watching sir I have 3 of em
Hunter the 9000’s are one of my favorites. It was neat to find this 9100. Thank you for watching.
X Recon do you run three 9100’s or three 9000 series?

Ahh an big tractor power video from illinois 👍👍 nice to see illinois is great.
Watch for more IL footage. I filmed a bunch of tractors at this farm.
I couldn't look away from those colters working they are almost hypnotic
It’s a neat set up. I would like to catch a Salford RTS in primary tillage in the fall to film.
I want to have a 9220 deere someday great tractors
👍👍
I’m seeing a bit more no-till here east of St.Paul Minnesota. We are definitely having a late spring and a cooler summer.
It sure has been a wet year. Hopefully most farm’s have been able to plant.
I love these videos now I want to go look them up on TractorHouse thanks for all the hard work
Thank you for watching. Are you in the market for a 4wd or just like looking?
that is one good looking John Deere tractor
👍👍
Like the big brute JD's working the earth. 🚜👍
I have a few JD videos on the way from the farm. They also had an 8960 and 9430 out in the same field.
Well done one of the best tractors made right there.
Thank you for watching. I just filmed a 9120 as well. They are a nice size 4wd.

Having rain showers would have been a godsend. As it were, we got gulley washers, downpours or whatever you'd like to call them
I am sorry for so many mid west farms that have not been able to plant in a normal fashion. Hopefully some sun will get things dried out soon.
nice
It is still wet and raining in central Illinois. FYI.
Yes getting stuck a lot deep mud. Thanks for watching sir
I am sorry it has been such a wet year. Hopefully the weather will moderated soon and bring some sunshine.
There is a guy up around me that has the same exact set up haha
Very cool.
I thought Deere was getting big in 4WDs with the introduction of the 250-400hp 70 Series in 1993

To put it simply even though the Hp maybe the same, however the weight is certainly not. Giving the advantage to bigger machine.
What's the classic Case in the background near the end , don't hold out on us now !!! Thanks for the video!!

I was pretty sure it was something like that , can't wait!!

Even tho my uncle runs case

You are right on it. I appreciate your efforts to be the first BTP viewer each time.
Deere is better than case
