I met George in 1971 when he performed at the Old Town Tavern in Bellevue, Washington with Lonnie Smith and, I believe, Lenny White. The most remembered thing about George was his Calmness. He seemed extremely at ease as he performed, also during his breaks. George was/is a SuperCool guy and it is apparent in his music..

I met him and chat with him briefly in NJ in the 1990s in Jersey City NJ before he moved to AZ.
