We want to share with you what this island has to offer, it’s a safe and beautiful place in which doesn’t get too much recognition and sadly when you try to tell people its whereabouts, their ignorance concludes into “It’s a bad place” since it belongs to Honduras, but then again, there’s good and bad in every country in the world and Roatan is on the good side of Honduras, don’t let yourself be deceived by the media!

Hello!! Your video was so cool. We’re stopping on a cruise and trying to decide what the best more authentic local atmosphere or places to go would be. Do you have any specific suggestions? Or places to recommend where you are in the video?
Lexie Baker hello there! You will love Roatan! I’m assuming you’ll be there for a couple hours, right? Honestly there is so much to do! I Met lots of people from the cruise that were either spending the day buying day passes in West Bay and enjoy Infinity Bay resort and go snorkeling or going to Little French Key, that has lots of activities to offer and has exotic animals but it gets extremely crowded with cruise people that you might not be able to do it all. For authentic local atmosphere West End offers bars, restaurants and diving shops. Punta Gorda is where the garifunas go dance, but that’s on Sunday and at the opposite of island from West Bay. If I was in Roatan for a couple of hours I will definitely go to West Bay to enjoy the beach and go snorkeling :) there’s also nice places to go grab a meal alongside the beach :)
