Finally a young woman sharing a science-backed skincare routine lol I grew up rubbing lemons, baking soda and other random shit on my face bc of bad UA-cam advice, so it's nice to see someone actually helping people out. 👏🏽
@@ladysnowblood As a pre-teen/teen I was thinking for myself, utilizing the tools I had (UA-cam) at the time to try to help myself. Don't know how many kids were looking through peer-reviewed research papers, but apparently you were.
same when i was a teen i always had those DIY skincare i put in small cups in the fridge and they caused me acne ..i was a teen who had clear skin but after i put that shit on my face ..the small little acne i had on my forehead contaminated my whole face
i want to start using sunscreen but i have several questions, i have heard it causes darkening in skin, is it true? :( and i heard it causes redness as well i want to know to which extent these are true, i hope someone can help 😭 and i just purchased sebamed baby sunscreen spf 50 , bc my skin is WAY too damn allergic and sensitive to normal adult products (moisturizers, serums, cleansers etc etc)
SOMEONE HELP PLEASEE
@@mafazchan6817 nooooo not at all these are all myths sunscreen does NOTHING BUT GOODNESS to your skin don't hear those ppl who tells you that ..I wear sunscreen every single freaking day and it helps my skin be protected from the sun it's the ultimate skin product for anti aging ..so again don't hear those myths and go wear sunscreen right now ..as you know summer is already here go and buy one for your own good ...just an advice ..pick a sunscreen for your skin type ..and another advice don't buy the sunscreen that has a mousse consistency it doesn't feel right on the skin just saying..pick a lotion consistency of a sunscreen that's the best choice in my opinion ..good luck
@@mafazchan6817 Dr.Dray , Doctorly , Abbey Yung , Tina Tanka Harris , James Welsh , Hyram , Gothamista , HotandFlashy.... these are some channels that might help!
this is the best skincare routine video i've watched, simple, informative and not cringey at all. i really learned a lot, thank you zeliha! ❤️
Ahh I'm so glad! Thank you for being here
No it's not me! I'm so sorry this is happening, I have reported them : (
Please write a name all tube and mention all time
i agree so badlyyyyyyyyy shes so helpful and intelligent
@@zelihaakpinar pls pls let me know i m using tretnoin 0.25% from last 6/7 months i didnt purge badly but from last 2 months i am getting more acne is it normal..will really appreciate if u reply ..i didnt peeled badly at the beginning and still not peeling but getting acne
That’s probably one of the best videos about skincare I have ever seen. Straight forward and honest, love this! 😍
As a person who suffered REALLY REALLY REALLY bad acne and went on accurate as well I completely agree with keep in it simple when it comes to your skincare routine! I cannot stress enough how “bad” your face can get when you use lots of products (especially if they’re not made for acne skin). Thank you for your video it’s the best I’ve seen so far, and trust me I’ve seen tons 😂❤
I'm so glad you liked it! Especially as someone who also had similar skin problems! Thank you for being here and your support Elena ❤
@@zelihaakpinar Bro please play GTA 5.
I have a quite a few acne on my forehead and I’m really insecure about it. My skincare routine hasn’t really been working I’ve been looking for a new routine. Thank you❤️
@@starstrayvay Zeliha should play GTA 5 in her channel.
@@drvishbabarstate8656 what’s that
Omg! I LOVE how simple and affordable this routine is. Being a student and on social media, it's easy to get overwhelmed and think you need 500 products. This was so straight up and I'm happy I watched it because skincare can feel like a hassle sometimes and I give up when I'm too unmotivated. But I always forget the long time rewards
Short, the clearest and accurate video about skincare! I will definitely take care of retinoid. The thing is I heard literally thousands of times to use retinoid, but nothing on how to use it. Thanks Zeliha!
It's been almost a month since I started using your skincare routine and I am shocked to say that my skin has finally started to heal. I swear by these products and I won't change my skincare routine for years.
For AM:
double cleanse with the oat cleansing balm and cerave hydrating cleanser
apply effaclar duo
bondi sands sunscreen
For PM:
double cleanse as in AM
hydrate with clinique moisture surge (game changing)
apply tretinoin 0.05%
moisturize with toleriane sensitive creme by la roche posay
I have super sensitive and acne-prone skin and this is making me glow. Hope it helps.
I've had acne since i was 16, i'm almost 20 now and still struggling. Seeing how you've seriously struggled with acne too and are now maintaining such beautiful skin gives me so much hope. I've been researching skincare products like crazy lately, trying to create a perfect minimalistic routine and yours seems perfect. Thank you Zeliha!
Don’t believe that please
they did it to me on another UA-cam channel and I figured they are fake
@@RoseRose28788 ohh dw i see these scam channels everywhere too, i already reported that comment as spam, because it's so annoying. thanks for the heads up though!
@@kejsik6374 you’re welcome dear💜🥰
Same problem almost 5years but I tried ponds pimple face wash and use kojic acid gel for acne pigmentation fully cured I am very happy😊
Honest advice wash ur face every night and apply clindamycin on acne , I did it for one yr & trust me I got rid of it with no scars left
for the sunscreen, i use the supergoop unseen sunscreen spf 40, its transparent so no white cast, sits well under makeup, doesnt feel sticky in anyway! I highly recommend this one for anyone looking for a good sunscreen! I also have acne and doesnt causes breakout for me!❤
As I’m a male, I couldn’t disagree how important to take care of my skin on a daily basis. Thanks for the informative video.
As a male I say wash with soap once in a while and don't "overcare" your skin. Nothing else is really needed, except sunscreen on hot summer days. All this listed in the video will make you dependent in the long run. Meaning you will need all this crap to maintain healthy looking skin. Our skin can take care of itself with some cleaning ofcourse. In case of horrible acne there are medications for that. Overwashing your face will damage your skin no matter what it says on the product label and how soft it says it is. Use mild soap, wash, rinse, that's it. You can use some facial cream if you have really dry skin. Also, washing too much will lead to dry skin eventually.
@@snifik I appreciate that of your comment:)
The only thing you need is a cleanser, moisturizer and spf
@@snifikoh u mentioned pimples now what about hyperpigmentation, redness, wrinkes, dark circles , dry skin??? I have 3 step skincare routine ( facewash , moituriser, spf ) in the day and just facewash and overnight cream (herbal) in the night. All prescribed from a really old experienced skin Dr and I started it because I had acne, hyperpigmentation on my skin which occurred when I was using just soap....oh and scars too. Well yes my health, diet, stress all contributed to it but using soap which dried my skin so harshly did too. Maybe a woman's skin is more sensitive.
@@rxse7826did you manage to get rid of the hyperpigmentation and dark circles?
Thank you for being always there❤️ i appreciate it, you help me calm down and your voice soothes me i hope that doesn’t sound weird but it feels like i’m watching a big sister of mine that i’ve known for ages❤️ keep going and thanks a lot again for motivating and encouraging many people😊 i hope every dream of yours come true and you live a happy and healthy life🥰 lots of love
Love this video, simple, but very informative!😍

Love the simple, to the point video! Would love to watch more of such educational videos as well
Best thing I have EVER used for a clearer skin is 2% BHA exfoliant = zero blackheads after suffering for years. I use Paula's Choice but there are many others. And a Vit C moisturiser really helps.
Yes, I've been using that precise exfoliant for 5 years, and it keeps my acne prone skin clear!
Hey, do you use it daily?
@@vaniluchy8947 At the beginning, yes! Then reduced to weekends because i found something better!!
14% glycolic acid AHA - leave on variety
Thank you for providing this important information about health in such a simple and reachable way. It's so easy to get overwhelmed and confused with the variety of skincare products and different routines presented on UA-cam, but yours is so simple, yet really effective looking at how perfect your skin is.
You are such an inspiration Zeliha, especially for someone like me who wishes to pursue medicine in the future. Keep on going!!
My girl found the perfect lighting. Slayy✨
As a 2nd year medical students myself I know how difficult is to take care of your skin doing classes, lab , quiz's and exam you can't spend a whole lot of time to your skincare but this video and this simple routine is very useful and practical
So thanks for this video ☺️
yeah I felt the same when I was a 2nd year pharmacist 11 years ago.
Thank you detailed video and being so specific about each product. Love your videos.
Best skincare routine video I've ever watched on UA-cam. I'll start my skincare from now on
you have a very, very thorough information about the routine steps and benefits. let alone they are backed with science! good luck on your study
Wow! I never would’ve guessed you had acne; your skin looks so clear and smooth :)
I too had bad acne and went on Acutane for it; it made a HUGE difference! I’m now using Stieva-A cream and that’s been helping as well.
Thank you for sharing!
It’s also worth mentioning the impact that working in stressful occupations has on the skin. I don’t know the science behind it, but self care and looking after your well-being outside of work is really important. Anyone working in caring occupations has earned the right to treat themselves.
Its sooo stunning to watch your videos especially the productive videos.
I absolutely love your videos and I was hoping you would do a skincare routine. Masallah your skin looks amazing.
You are truly inspirational and brings lot of positivity
I really loved your skincare routine and I would love it if you upload a makeup routine because I love how minimal and natural your makeup is plus you have beautiful skin.
Thank you so much for sharing this useful information. Could you kindly share the story of your acne treatment as well? It would be super helpful. Your skin looks perfect!!
Zeliha is naturally so pretty! You know someone is pretty when she looks great without make up

OMG so happy for your video. I found out abt ur channel 2 days ago and find it so inspiring and motivating for me as it is my dream to become a doctor. I know it will be hard, but you have motivated me sooo much. Now I am in 9th grade and so relived and happy that I have a clear understanding about my future goals and career. Am I the only one that loves her accent and how polite and slow she talks ? 💗
i love how she explained this pretty good ❤❤❤
Hey Zeliha, could you please do a separate video on your experience with accutane and it’s side effects if you experienced any. Since I am soon going to see a dermatologist and have had acne for 10 years of my life and desperately want a clear skin so I want to know what I’ll be getting myself into if I go on accutane. I’ve been getting anti-bacterial facial treatments which do help but don’t completely clear it and since I’ve also used doxycycline it also only helped temporarily. So I’ve never found a permanent solution sadly. So please do share your experience! Thank you and I absolutely love your videos! 💫
Please definitely do a separate video on how you got rid of acne and what you did for acne, please i really request many of us really need it
Healthy diet, exercise (cardio), sufficient deep sleep, laughing, hot & cold shower, weekly fasting, are also very beneficial for the skin.
Wow your skin looks amazing! What an improvement🌻🌻
finally a much awaited skin care routine video...
Yes please ! A video about accutane would be so helpful
Thank you Zeliha, your videos are so motivating, and I hope i did help your research project :)

Korean sunscreens,
Are some of the BEST sunscreens one can acquire, as they are moisturizing , lightweight, affordable, contain MORE UV filters which are not available in the United States; and , I think, most crucially : they are comfortable; NICE TO USE: thus increasing the chances that you will STICK to using them: and stick to using them frequently throughout your day.
Some great Korean brands
- Issinfree
- Purito
- Cosrx
- Beauty of Joseon
-Trader Joes also has one that went viral! Haha
Good Luck!
As a pre med student and skin care enjoyer myself I love this video to much

Hi Zeliha, wow what a great video about skincare. I had an acne too way back in High School, I wish I had this video hahaha. Thank you for sharing.... Take care💖🏵🌺🌼🌻
I found it helpful and thank you for sharing it with us. I'm curious what you think about silicone brushes. Keep up 💕
this was so informative!!! I will start using sunscreen again
You should definitely do another video for your acne treatment. It would be useful.
was just going to say in my last comment your skin is so perfect. i used to suffer from acne in my 20s and i found that it was largely internal. if i have good ph balance eating raw foods cooked vegetables even juicing once a day i don't get it anymore. avoid sugary food tobacco coffee and alcohol and your golden. stay alkalized. avoid food that causes acid waste in the body. save your money throw out the products they will age your skin over time and google a food chart of acid waste forming foods and alkalizing foods. trust me i have been on this for a decade.
super helpful! can you please make a video about the use of accutane and isotretinoin?!
Gosh! How pretty she is!😍
I use the cerave hydrating cleanser and to foam it up I add a little bit of water in the palm of my hand and lather it up.
Hope this helps😊
I am simple person when I see video with words student Doctor I watch it immediately, because I am also medical student and love find all med students here☺️
i tried everything. my skin just will not stop breaking out, no matter what moisturiser i use, i used a 3 step process, even tried retinol. so i stopped using anything other than the inky list fulvic acid cleanser and ive not broken out since... if only i could find an spf that didnt break me out / clog pores / make eyes water, id be golden!
don’t forget to put the sunscreen at the top of the ears and the eyelids too. love from a fellow med student
😘😘I also suffer from acne and its effects, and the doctor I follow asked me to use cerave. I am now using it. It is really wonderful. My skin is starting to improve، anyway. I benefited from the video. Thank you very much. 🍄🍄🍄🎀♥
Thanks for sharing best practices.
