How Did Bern Become The Capital Of Switzerland? I Visited Bern Old Town To Find Out!

I visited Bern to find out how it became the capital of Switzerland instead of Geneva, Basel, Zurich or Lucerne. I ended up understanding the reason and in the meantime visited a city that is often overlooked. Bern has a gothic cathedral, amazing views, a bear pit and an incredible Old Town. Bern Old Town also called Old City of Bern is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and should be on everyone’s list of places to visit in Switzerland.
