I owned one of these 20 years ago, it is/was surely one of the most complex synths ever, I doubt many owners ever really understood it, I certainly didnt. Nice demo of the incredible range of sounds.
Owned one of these for years. Upgraded it with new screen and other mods. Unique and incredibly versatile. Capable of some awesome analogue emulations as well as those amazing evolving textures. Easily the best keybed I have, love playing it. If you see one for sale, BUY IT! - (and get the Wizoo reference guide to learn how to program it)

Still has the freakin sticker on it!!! Talk about a studio queen. Another awesome demo UJIIE! Knew about the 5000 but it was never on my radar....probably because of all the lame demo videos. UJIIE really showcased it's capabilities. It has some decent potential. If I ever run across one on the cheap, I would scoop it up....especially if it still had the freakin sticker on it! :-)
The distorted guitar patch is one of the most playable and realistic emulations in any keyboard from that era. It's right to /up there with the ones in the Roland JD800, Korg Trinity and Ensoniq TS10.
@@rafacool5241 yep the Kurzweil K2000 had very playable and realistic acoustic and electric guitar programs for the time in the early to mid 90s and I really enjoyed using them. My Korg Z1EX and Triton with MOSS also had very playable guitar programs but you really had to work very hard using all the real time controllers at your disposal to get them to sound very realistic. I never owned a Yamaha EX5 but often played around on one in the music stores at the time and it was a phenomenal sounding instrument with a lot of power under the hood. It's user interface let it down and that's why I choose to buy a Triton with MOSS board at the time instead.

Yeah, they're awesome! I recommend checking out the "Kawai K1v" emulation plugin made by Nils Schneider of one of their earlier models, it's amazing and extremely lightweight.

音も性能もデザインも今見ても最良の部類に入るかと思います。
あと鍵盤の造形とても良いです。かなりコストかかっていると思いますが
すごく弾きやすいです。シンセ史上最高の鍵盤だと思います😉

My K5000s inspired so many tracks unique in many ways built like a tank amazing action bought one of the first in Australia still have it today.

4:30 KAWAIのブラスは弾いても聴いても気持ち良いんですよねえ。
シンセブラスのためだけにKAWAIの音源を使っていたこともありました。
このシンセサイザーを初めか９０年代から２０００年代前半は各メーカー、個性的なシンセを出してて面白かったなあ。
今も残ってるのは、エンソニック、イーミュー、カーツウェル、コルグ辺り。

ローランドの鍵盤も、この鍵盤みたいにタテに長いと弾きやすいんだけどな。音は好みではないが、このフォルムと鍵盤の弾きやすさは最高だと思う。マスターキーボードとして今だに使える。
過去に二回、秋葉原の某店にて目の前で売れていった経験があります。長年探しているのですが出物は少ないですね…。
KAWAIはK4も大好きです。
K5000シリーズにはwavファイルを読み込んで、倍音加算のデータに変換して演奏する機能がありました。
これを試してみたいんですよね…。
