The Best Hot Chocolate Cupcakes

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved hot chocolate. It was the best treat during those chilly nights. These cupcakes brought all those memories back. Moist chocolate cupcakes full of hot cocoa flavor. Very easy to make and will satisfy any sweet tooth. Happy Baking!

For cupcakes
2 cups flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 cup hot water mixed with 1 packet of hot cocoa mix
For buttercream
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup hot cocoa mix
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream- add little at a time, until you get desired consistency
Mini marshmallows
Mini candy canes
Bake at 350F 15-20 minutes
