Bravo Andrew ! Wonderful Concert !!! and Luke - spot on about what we perceive as being worthy of appreciation. Authentic to the composer whether of notoriety or behind the scenes still of great merit and beauty. Thank you both as ever and always. marcia
A most rewarding recital! I especially appreciated the opening Bach--questionable attribution noted, Prof. Howard!--and the concluding Whitlock. The decrescendo in the last few bars of the Elgar was masterful in its seamlessness. Of course, the Tabernacle organ makes all things possible, doesn't it?
i dont belife in that post-discusions about bach or not. 100% we can only say if one work is by bach when we have realy evidence or if we had the posibilities of timevoyages. so for me it is a littel bit arrogant to say this is 100% bach or not. its to much dogmatic for me. why should a genius like bach not compose in different styls?
Andy the Elgar was spot on and divine in every way. I don't think I've heard a more gorgeous performance. Thanks.
Thank you for playing Come Come Ye Saints. This song gives me courage and comfort for me to go through my challenges in this life.
I was particularly moved by your beautiful arrangement of "Nearer, My God, to Thee.

Good afternoon from Illinois. A fine concert, refreshing in the middle of the day. Thank you for doing this.
