@@zetterburger I think I'm a little more optimistic than you are. Though maybe my standards aren't quite as high. I'm expecting it to be charming, if a little cheesy, and kinda over the top. Kinda to pay homage to the games.

They forced me to START playing the game. I’ve never played any fallout game before this other than fallout shelter but I saw the ad a few days ago and it looked so good that I downloaded it on my Xbox and started playing. Thank you Xbox for gamepasd

With this format they can actually show that cars are very much a thing in this universe still. The games can't show it cuz of engine restrictions but people do drive around in the wasteland they don't just walk everywhere. Also the "There's always someone behind the wheel" 2:25 makes me think the Enclave might come back slightly. After Raven Rock the Enclave Remnants started slowly integrating themselves into the NCR.
I mean, its obvious.
Its just rare. Outside of main factions to have working vehicles.

Its set in bethesdas continuity as after fallout 4 but it is its own story, like how new vegas was. Thats why the prydwin exists

looks great, hopefully it wont be just 6 episodes every year and a half.
Ive pretty much just stopped watching TV shows that only have 6 to 8 episodes until its been out for at least 3 seasons which usually means at least 5 years so I can watch a whopping 18 episodes (5 years worth) binge in a couple days and most shows are cancelled before that anyway especially if theyre really good
All episodes are supposed to be released at once so theres no worries in having to wait between episode releases.

Why did they have to set it on the west coast? I thought they were drawing a distinction between their story(east coast) and the originals + new Vegas. Are they going to canonize an ending of NV?
It seems they'll loosely canonize one of the endings at least. Not to different than how the games do it on a new game start.

Ok, yes…..but have you ever played a fallout game, walked out of the vault, and not been absolutely blinded because your character was wearing goggles? No? Yeah me neither.
Not really, shes living with lights on in the vault, its not like shes the falmor.
I got nothing against a female lead but when everything coming out these days is about a woman I was hoping for a male lead this time. Hopefully the story holds up because im not about to witness a new she hulk ruin another franchise. To be honest im more excited about the Fallout 4 next gen update than I am about this show right about now.

What’s the music in the second half of the video?
If you are referring to the orchestrated portion, it's just a rearrangement of the Inkspots song you hear in the beginning. It's the same melody, with a changed rhythm. The rhythm holds the melody notes out longer- focusing on the important notes of the melody. That's why in a portion of the second half, you hear the singer's vocals.

Looks pretty lame. Color palette should be muted and drab not bright and colorful. Plus every movie now is overdone replacing males with females, swapping races, and other such noise. The main character is literally ‘Fall Out Boy’. Is the writing so bad that they need these weak gimmicks?

More men play the game so of course more people equate their character to the male counterparts, like cyberpunk and mass effect. This looks awful. For one thing the only reason your character lives in the games is purely because you're playing a game. You want me to believe this one female with NO military training or experience is going to survive by herself in the wasteland? It only works if the viewers ignore all reality.

Oh the failure of having such diverse and epic battlefields in lore but were forced to watch another bs sitcom. Where is the battle of hoover dam? What about the super mutant assault on capital hill? BOS vs. enclave, bos vs. NCR??? Wtf people.
This is supposed to take place after all of that. It is meant to be a unique story. I think most fallout fans would much rather see them attempt their own narrative in the fallout universe rather than just using an already existing story and turning it live action like everyone is doing at the moment.
So you wanted them to recreate the games? Rather than using the insane world to tell a unique story?

I wonder who makes makeup in a post-apocalyptic world and why? 😮 I could not watch it because it made the entire show ridiculous. I like films that make me forget that it's just actors acting behind the camera.

It's an amazing show. Yeah there's still lots of sexism in movies but Lucy looks like that because she's literally sheltered and lives a neat pampered life underground in a vault and the story follows her just beginning to leave that vault.

Nah man just play new vegas, it has a far better story and it is closer to were the fallout tv show is set (and maybe fallout 1 and 2 if you got good patience and time)
I am geeked for this. Walton Goggins plays an amazing scumbag, never disappoints. Have been a Fallout fan since the first game in the 90s. Never thought I'd see this happen. Very happy.
