I made this last night and it is SO cute, the straps are so easily adjustable with the cotton yarn! Usually with bralettes, I struggle to tighten my lace up straps but this one was perfect!
@@andynunez8336 with practice you can do it too! I started crocheting in December and I used to took weeks for just one top and I made this is like 4 hours!🥹💓
This was so easy and taught me a few new stitches, not to mention that it took up very little yarn to make my size. I am so impressed with this as my first crop top!
I love it! Took me about 7 hours total, but there was a maybe 3 hour break in there, and I wasnt able to work on it without distraction, but still a one day project!
Thank you for taking the time to make tutorials, and for creating patterns I can purchase. I love to crochet, but can not create a pattern and appreciate designers such as yourself.
I am so excited about this top! I just learned how to crochet this summer and this is the first successful thing I have made. Your tutorial was so easy to follow, thank you!!
Can't believe the amount of ungrateful people here 😅 Kelsie, I know making the pattern for this top HAD to be a headache! Thank you for taking the time to also make a tutorial.
Hi Kelsie ! Thanks for your tutorials, these are amazing, great detailed and perfectly executed ! I can't wait and really hope you'll post a tutorial for your "sneak a peek" top pattern ! I love this one so much !!! 😍 Thanks again, bye ✨
Just finished mine!!!! It's super cute and easy, but usually I'm a size small but it didn't fit quite right so I had to adjust it🥰 But overall a quick and good explained tutorial!❤
Hello Passion Knits, I saw you first on You Tube. And ALL the clothes you made. Then I was hooked with your work. I just LOVE "ALL" THE THINGS YOU MADE. I SURE HOPE YOU NEVER STOP WHAT YOU DO. I GIVE IT A "THUMBS UP". Ok, now let me tell you about Me. My name is Elsa R. I am a OK proud 61 year old Mother of 1 Adult Daughter +1 Adult Granddaughter. I live out in California. I am old. But I finally found your site to let you know how I feel about everything you do here on your show. (I call it - Great) !!! May God & Jesus bless you and take care of you forever. He takes care of Me, too. Sorry, this is sooo long. But that's Me. Sincerely, Elsa R. (Before the movie "Frozen" came out.) Ha, Ha. ( I will continue to watch any of your videos.) Bye for now......
I wanna do this but I'm not a small I'm like a large-xlarge maybe like a 38-40D I know you have a written pattern I'm just broke and have a bunch of yarn so I'm trying to make myself some clothes.
Just saw a short about this top but you were making one and didnt show anybody wearing it SOOOO I went to your channel and saw a short of you wearing it and now I'm here because I NEED one😂😂
Girl, can you like show us how you do your slip knot? :P You do it so fast it’s super cool! I also had a question on the pattern I bought for this shirt. I'm following the XL directions and am having trouble one the second cup, row 3. I had no problems with everything leading up to that. But on cup 2 row 3 it says i'm supposed to end up with 32 stiches but end up with 39. i'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong or if the directions are wrong? i don't doubt your abilities i'm just wondering if what i'm doing wrong here. Or if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it!
Me, a size large, not bitching in the comments about her not making it in my size in the video. Anyway, thank you for making the tutorial! I got the pattern but I need visuals to help me with the written, and this was perfect! Thank you for your work!
Question from a beginner! Why is it different steps when making the second cup? Could you not make two of the same cup and then invert one of them so the sides with the keyhole meet in the middle? Or does that not work?
i dont think its a coincidence 😂 i have sooo many projects im working on tooo and my yarn stash just keep growing 🙈😭😂 but tbh i love this top 🤩 #crochetbutmakeitbaddie
Hi! Love the pattern and the tutorial! I made a top a few months ago using acrylic yarn. Would you say using cotton yarn would be more supportive for these kinds of tops and bralettes? Anyway, appreciate the time anf effort put into this tutorial!!
In my experience, cotton provides exactly that. The stiffer/less stretchy fiber holds up without disfiguring over longer periods of time and holds you in nicely.
Kelsie I think in the written pattern the increases are missing. Every time I read it and watch this tutorial the last 3 rows don't match up. Time stamp 11:04
If you are bigger chested, and you have done her tutorials before where she writes the pattern in the description. Did you use those steps for the top or have any tips for someone who currently doesnt have money for pattern purchasing atm?
It was a little too pointy at the top for my taste, so on the seventh row, i did an increase on the stitch before and after the middle stitch, only doing a single crochet on the middle stitch. It rounded it out a bit, but kept the stitch count, look, and shape! Edit - an increase for begginers is just two single crochets in one stitch ^^
does using light worsted weight yarn affect the size of the cups? i made one cup using light worsted for the xlarge but its way too small for my chest.
Can I ask what the gauge swatch is meant to be please? I’ve bought the written pattern but there’s no info on there re: gauge for stitches. It would be great to have so people can change to use different weight yarns.
I've made two for my daughter who has received tons of compliments. I'm a cool mom now :)
Yayy! Cool mom!
aww you're the coolest mom!
You should make her a Mean Girl peekaboo inspired top 💗 it would be so “fetch” 😎

If I use a 4mm hook and wool, how many rows should I do for each cup if I'm a size small?
when your done with your second cup and realize you have fifteen rows on one cup and thirteen on the other😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
As a Lefty crocheting this top what cup would be done with the slip stitch? I am guessing you just reverse it.
Bought the pattern, and made it with Bernat Baby Velvet. I it feels so lush and decadent.
I can't wait to make this 😍❤️
