Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 вер 2019
- There's a lot to like about the Seat Tarraco. It’s enjoyable to drive, generously equipped, and one of the safest cars in its class, but is it as versatile as the very best large SUVs like our reigning Large SUV of the Year, the Peugeot 5008? Watch this in-depth review to find out.

A £30k automobile has been upstaged...by a pair of trousers.
I am getting flashbacks to the early 1970s. All she needs to get the whole look is a pair of 4" platform shoes.
I prefer WhatCar reviews.
Very honest, unbiased and to the point.
Rebecca and Doug show that you don't need ridiculous antics to make a car review interesting.
Those unaborted rearlights are really a bit of a classic, nice to see them back. It reminds me of an old Ibiza
Very nice presentation; thanks Rebecca.
Please mention in gear accelerations also
It is quite noticeable that the cost-cutting after dieselgate has struck VW Group hard and also Seat.
Good review , points to note are the Peugeot is not available with a four wheel drive system and if you want DSG to change down more swiftly you can select sport mode.
Thanks Paul. That helps me to decide whether to go for the automatic or not. i👍
I like your videos. First, you make very professional videos and its very good instructed. Second, you look so gorgeous, especially in your black blouse and the yellow trousers. You look so elegant in the trousers and the black blouse is also nice.
One question is, does the car has seatbelt control sensors in the back? My aunt sits in the back and she hate the seat belt chime. Thanks for answering!😀
Good to have you back love your car reviews Rebecca, this is another nice looking Seat car , I’ve owned Seat cars for over 10 years and they are very reliable! Great review 👍💚
With those yellow pants I was expecting a banana in the storage box. For the first time in my life I am jealous of a steering wheel and a gear stick of a car.
Raindrops keep falling on my head...
The design is interesting.
The black buttons on the banana pants are a good design feature as the give a slightly false impression of a narrower waist.
I love my 5008 2019 but I’m going to look at one of these as it looks pretty good
I have my seat TARRACO excellence 2.0 Diesel 150ps color indium grey I’m so happy for my car💫❤️
Hi. What is real life fuel consumption? Thx
Good review. Would have been better with 90% less music.
She is a race car driver or something like that or used to be.
It is very, cool to see how a relatively super linear power delivery can confuse even experts.
Just saw the numbers of local press for the 1.2 130 3008 vs 1.5 tsi tarraco.
The 3008 is 0,5 seconds slower to 62.
2 seconds slower for a mm vs the seat.
And it is half or more class slower for in gear acceleration.
There is NO denying that the 1.5 tsi is faster. Even if it feels slower to the woman reviewer here.
That background music was a bit strange and I think Rebecca had upset the producer/director since she was made to stand out in the rain 5:15
Not quite as agile as an ateca ? Maybe its half the size 🤪
In those pants Rebecca looks at least 5'8".
When comparing other 7 seat SUV's sold in the UK in the same price bracket, both the Skoda Kodiak and Peugeot 5008 are always mentioned as competitors. But why are the Kia Sorento and stable mate Hyundai Sante Fe never mentioned? Both are 7 seat SUV's, in a similar price range, sold in the UK. Can What Car give me an answer to this?
Because they're not in the same price range as these 3.
@@andreidinu7316 exactly. but the Santa Fe is massively overpriced anyway.
you have returned more beautiful than ever
Banana trousers...love them
Have you reviewed the 2020 LR Discovery Sport yet? What about the new Defender, the King of Off road
A fair review, it seems.
Rain... ☺️
Hi I am buying the 2.0L diesel auto with the dsg gear box at the end of this week. I have been told it is the fr sport spec and google says it is the xcellence lux edition. Will this come with the panoramic roof automatically?
No
Can we see you in more reviews? :D
All hands for Peugeot 5008.
Spectacular
Loved blessing car
Nice car but..Jeez , I see Rebecca , I press like ..she is soooooo sweet ❤
Sho so sweet
She is important not car
Rebecca next time it rains try wearing some boots.. these shoes are not compatible with this weather 😂😂😂😂😂
Im here only for Rebecca
The 5008 is a people carrier only available in two wheel drive not exactly an SUV, such a shame really as I really like them.
so it's basically the same as a VW Tiguan All space. I have a Tiguan Allspace and many of the parts are the same.
diulikadikaday does it come as a shocker? 😂😂😂😂 they are recycling materials and even design between VW skoda and seat for years.. Trash design and boring uninspiring cars all around
Rebecca ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The steeringwheel on wrong side is so crazy...
Nope
Omg Rebecca!
Very nice. And the car
1:30 1. VW Tiguan AllSpace by a long mile, so sleek
2. Skoda Kodiaq Just nice and clean
3. Seat Terraco Not too bad
4. Peugeot Hasn't got such timeless design
All Space doesn't fit 3 adults in the second row. The others do.
I don't know what car just got reviewed... 🟡🟨🌻🌼🌼
Thank you for nice informative video.
Peugeot is way better than the vw group diesel gate cars.
Love the design language here, it’s classy and minimalistic design inside and outside also IMO
Was there a car in this video?....;o)
The badge looks like it says “TAAAACO!” Seats are my favorite VW product.
Rebecca, if you would read the telephone book to me, I would love it. ;) love your reviews
I love the way she pronouces the word "here", among many others.
Sadly, the Tarraco is one of the most disappointingly average cars I have ever purchased.
Things that are OK:
- Engine (Until it needed Oil at 3500 miles)
- DSG Gearbox
- The Colour - Black
- The wheels - 20" on the Xcellence LUX
Annoying things
- Seats: 'Leather' has the comfort and quality of a 1975 Morris Marina
- Seats: Only driver side is electric
- Seats: Not comfortable for long drives
- Lighting: You need to use your camera to see in the boot and rear set of seats in the dark. One small light in the boot isn't enough
- Lighting: Don't need 'Hola' shining on the floor when you unlock the car (add more lights to the boot)
- Dials: You can't see how many miles you have actually done in the car if you have Auto Cruise Control enabled. You need this if you are on a miles per year contract.
- Dials: Street sign recognition on UK isn't enabled. It is in the system, but not enabled
- Sunblind: Designed for left handed drivers. Trust me, try and pull it down with your right hand, it can be done, but the recess is on the left side.
- Blind spot or overtaking recognition: There isn't one despite this being the 'top of the range' with all the cameras you can shake a big stick at.
- Third row seats: Small, but you there isn't a button to drop them down on the 22 and later model. It used to be there, but was removed for some reason. (Save cost again)
If the car was 20% cheaper, a lot of the niggles could be excused, but this is a £40K (TDI model) so it needs to compete with the other £40K cars.

Two new design 'features'
Discovered the car uses .5L oil every 600 miles in the first 3500 miles. Really? how is that eco friendly? and the latest design 'feature' is you can't actually lift the front wipers up when they are in the normal stop position. Genius.
The headline for Tarraco should be 'The car that excels at absolutely nothing' If you want a car that struggles to obtain average, then this car is for you.
All the clicks and clacks as Rebecca demonstrated the various cabin storages indicate an abundance of hard, scratchy plastics. I guess you get what what you pay for, but the Tiguan is a classier product - if you can bear the social embarrassment of saying its name in public.
What's yellow and invisible? No Bananas Rebecca...
For people saying 5008 is better, let me tell you its not .
5008 is a better looking car but it is a bit behind Tech wise
1. no stop and go ACC (requires 30km minimum speed to start from stop)
2. no DCC adaptive suspension
3. no Multi Link independent rear suspension (5008 uses twist beam)
4. no 4WD option
5. the active lane keeping is better with Seat / Kodiaq, the 5008 sort of nudge creating a ping pong effect between lane.
6. Seat comes with SD card slot + 2 USB port in the front. 5008 comes with 1 USB port and thats it.
7. 360 deg camera and park sensors Seat / Kodiaq are also far superior than Peugeot
I would wait until 2020 revamp or something before getting a 5008
Dugw DCC adaptive suspension? 😂😂😂😂 The suspension even on comfort mode on the SEAT is so stiff you will regret pressing the adaptive suspension button immediately hahahahaha 😂😂😂😂
i guess you had the allure trim, try a GT..
Volkswagen calavele Loved
💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖.
good luck
Very nice ... woman she’s beautiful
Hot!
5008 all day long for me Becka !
Peugeot 5008 is not an SUV. There is no optional 4wd. It's a minivan dressed up as SUV
Rebecca you are gorgeous!
I click just because of Rebecca
Buy a Kodiaq
Rebecca is fit. Ideal girl to take home to parents
I think she rather review cars than make chapattis for you 😂
Was that comment necessary?@@imranjaved4425
Beautiful loved bless.
💖❤♥️❤💖❤🖐.
Love your reviews, but please do more sports cars.
Just saying the name of this kind'f cars makes me fall into a coma
Another SUV.....nice
The problem with the 5008 is that it’s a Peugeot. No one will want it in a few years.
Very 1970s style
Škoda
Y'all in the comments need to stop being so thirsty fr
Peugeot 5008 is still the best suv to go for the moment.
Nonsense if your over 6Ft tall it’s hopeless 😩
@@alanwayte432 yep, agreed !
😘❤🥛
the interior looks horrible
The face front looks like fiat tipo
Typical Percy McPervy comments...
Tbh. The interior looks outdated already
Peugeot is nicer
Thicccccc
Rebecca is soooooo sweet, unlike the Peugeot she's reviewing 😘
Sorry but let me know what is the point to talk about environment, introducing EV by brut force and political stupidity and then buy SUV which is the most pointless segment of them all! More expensive, heavier, slower, sluggish, dirtier and with increased consumption!
PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS!!!
So much BS about this car in this review.
Kodiaq and Tarraco are the same in terms of 7 seats...
And anything is better than 5008.
What is the logic behind your comment "anything is better then 5008
@@1m_megapixels It's a Peugeot - I used to own one - I'll never, ever make that mistake again ...
@@1m_megapixels vw build quality.
@@Chriswales what Peugeot did you have?
@@devilax03 I would say a rubbish one - but that's most of them. 306 Turbo Diesel - the engine exploded in the fast lane of the motorway.
Peugeot is a lot nicer.
Nah
Looks just like a VW, not original at all. PEUGEOT 5008 still my choice.

* NOT, NOT, NOT ... Peuge-NOT.
