I did modify the weapons, but it should be within limits for people on NG+. It's been a while, but I remember finding the maximum CC you can attain for the strongest weapons. If you take some time to use the Eleth Mixer to get the required item to dualize Sophie's strongest weapon (assuming you got it on the previous playthrough at some point) you can make the strongest weapons in the beginning of the game. From there, just do the usual dualize stuff as you need to. It's probably some finer stuff I missed on, but overall, I went that route.
