What defendants need to realize is that the state is paying for these programs. Regular folks pay out of pocket for rehabilitation, counseling, group therapy, and classes. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that being in Judge Boyd's court is a blessing and should be gratefully accepted as one excellent opportunity to get one's life in order.

I liked to get ounces or quarter pounds and just save it up and smoke it over weeks or months. Never sold my personal stash. That way I did not have to see my dealer often. She’s in Texas though so she’ll be able to get her hands on it in prison. The Texas prison system is extremely corrupt. The only other state that’s as bad as Texas is Florida. Whenever you see good ol boys that are beyond reproach, & claim the reason they’re being accused of corruption is because they’re fighting corruption, you know they’re full of 💩 & are being protected from high up in the state government. Texas & Florida were never corrupt on an institutional level until the last 7 or 8 years (at least not in recent memory - 1950s/60s to present day).
