New Langmuir Welding Table (The Arc Flat) and DIY Welding Clamps! Is a video where I set up the Arc Flat Fabrication/Welding table. I then build clamps out of standard old clamps, to work with the holes of the table.

I went to Langmuir to look at the plasma tables and was surprised to see the fixture table. It's on my short list too. Thanks for the info.
Definitely hoping to get one of these as well. I like the fact you can start small and build expand as you need to .

You just convinced me to not get the tab n slot table. I just ordered 2 langmuir 2x3 tables, a set of legs and the joining hardware. Lower cost shipping and the quality of this table sealed the deal for me. Thanks!

I’d really like you to show how flat (or unflat) this table is. Fit shims from center on out to edges under a precision straight edge. Also would love to see how two tables join!

I have this table as well. And if you wanna make it wider then try the tab and slot wings. I already ordered the vise wings for a vise. And with the pliers clamp, you should make your own swivel adapter like fireball tool sells, it makes them my favorite ones by far
Love the review. I've been looking for something like this. I'm going to get one now. Very affordable for what you get. Whenever you get another table do a video of them being mated if ya can.
Those are nice I'll be ordering a couple for my shop. I buy 5/8 shoulder bolts for my other table. I weld my clamps to those and use them as stops. Bought a dozen on ebay cheap. Also have some Fireball tools stops, they are reasonable too. Thx for the video, got me locked into getting a couple!

Hell yea dude! I saw the title and thought, "does he mean CNC plasma table?" Didnt know they made flat blocks, that's pretty cool! And they fit in the average garage. Good to see ya brother, nice job and congrats on the badas* table! I'm sure itll be handy for what you typically do! Prolly would for me as well

Max thanks for an excellent video on the Langmuir weld table; almost what I'm looking for. I want something like that I can lift up and put on my Handy motorcycle lift, but lighter then the Langmuir table at 145 lbs. Hopefully it will be available in cast aluminum. That would be easier for me to take on and off depending on the job in my garage. Good job keep it up!
I hadn't heard of Langmuir before. That's a sweet cast iron table.
I'm curious what you use that Grizzly bandsaw for? I have the G0513X2. I use mine for furniture making. Mixture of steel and wood type stuff. But mine is not meant for metal cutting.
Also, I have a tab and slot table. I've never liked it. I've put two of them together and neither of them come out as flat as they claim. They're not bad, they're just not good either.
I use it just for aluminum. I decided to buy a 17" so I wouldn't have to upgrade in the future. otherwise I'd have just gotten a 14"

Buy a lathe with a DRO man. Its one of those things you'll wish you did a long time ago. 12x36 or similar is the ideal size for fabricators like us. It will pay for itself with all the tools you'll make instead of buying.
Thats a great looking table. I'm prob going to sell mine and get a smaller one. Its waaaaay to big for my home garage.

I like that table. Ive been thinking about picking a couple of them up. I built a poor man's strong hand table kinda similar to the one you made and it works great, but cast iron is way better to weld on. Enjoy the videos!

@@5thStreetFab that is definitely a pain. It is great for fitting up larger projects. I used 1/2"×4" flat bar for my top. It is definitely stout. I want the lqngmuir table for smaller precise projects

I was going to build a welding table for myself but realized I could not as I didn’t have a welding table to build one with. This appears to be a unsolvable problem at this point in time. Why is life so hard! Damnit! Been in therapy now going on two years. I still have no table.
