    I have to admit, I wasn't high on Bucky, and to me it was Tykee Smith the rookie that I was more excited about, and man I was wrong even that Tykee has been good but Bucky has been tremendous! Go Bucs!

    I'll take Bucky any day. Honestly, Barkley doesn't have break away speed, but his shiftyness will allow him to break away for long-distance gains. I'm proud of Tampa for finding this gem 💎

    I do remember Trevor saying Bucky was his favorite guy we drafted.

    I would rather have a RB with Bucky skill set than one with breakaway speed any day

      Yes, RoJo had speed, but it didn't serve him well due to his lack of vision.

      Obviously the ideal is both, but that’s a rare, rare combination. If forced to choose, I completely agree with you - an RB with Bucky’s talents is way more valuable.

    The thing about Warrick Dunn was the longevity. Running backs today seem to be good for two or three years and that's about it. Except for a few exceptions like Barkley. I think Warrick Dunn was the greatest running back we've ever had, at least as far as I remember. James Wilder was certainly awesome but he played on a lot of bad teams. And Michael stott was superb. What a tandem he and Warwick Dunn were.

      Yes! We'll see how Bucky Irving fares over the years, but he's off to a good start.

    We can't put all the emphasis on just running the ball. The passing game has got to be good also. The running game and the passing game compliment each other. Both sides have to be strong. This will inspire the defense also. If we have to just out score them in a shootout then so be it. But the offense needs to put points on the board for sure.

    If the Bucs are going to win this game Bucky Irving is most likely going to have to be very effective. Like 90 or 100 yd. And Mayfield is going to need to be sharp also. Everybody has got to put forth their best effort. Forget about the San Diego game! Forget about the hype and the media attention. Focus. This game is crucial in my opinion.

    I did not think Bucky'd tackle breaking would transfer from a weak college conference to the NFL.
    It CERTAINLY did.
    I was wrong.

      Also, his pass pro has been better than college. Skip Peete deserves a RAISE, and not just all the raising of the flags our RB's have brought this season!

    His ability to glide out of tackles with angry defenders left with nothing more than a tattered piece of a t shirt has been more than one game this year. Dude is a super freak

    No, I'm not claiming to be Nostradamus. I've been wrong more than I've been right. But, when we drafted Irving I watched his plays on UA-cam and I just saw that this kid was going to be special. I don't think you have to know football talent when you see it when it's this noticeable. I am not surprised at his success at all. Now, I watched Rashard White when we first drafted him and I had the feeling that he would be rookie of the Year. Well I was wrong. However, he last year I think finally became the guy I thought that he would be. I love both of them and they have their unique styles of playing. The only thing I would like to see white do more is just accelerating hit the hole a lot like Bucky does. Anyway, that's my two cents worth. That's probably more value than it's actually worth, but there you go 🙂

    Irving gets caught from behind in situations in which Billy Sims or OJ wouldn't but, by the time anybody ever catches him from behind, he's already 20 yards down field. Most coaches would be happy to have that....

    • @PewterReportTV
      @PewterReportTV  11 днів тому

      Yes, he doesn't have breakaway speed to go the distance ... but he still goes pretty far!
