I’m a 79 year old white woman who grew up in Texas when there were segregated water fountains, lunch counters, you name it. As a kid I never could understand it. I certainly don’t want to go back. The only good thing about the 50s was the music. I was taught we are all children of God and should love each other. I wish that prevailed today. So glad I discovered you on UA-cam. I think you are partly wrong in your comment...been living in this country for 22 years and what I noticed about (maybe even most of) Americans, is they actually prefer that others do the thinking and making the decisions for them. They like to brag how free they are, yet, have a strong need for BELONGING. Whether to a church, chapter or what ever it might be. For the big part they actually enjoy being "sheep". Word "pastor" is latin for "shepherd" and what shepherds do? ...They lead their flock (of sheep). Also bikers like to belong to 'chapters'.
So when I hear Americans (especially white ones) bragging about how free they are, I can't not to think of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe who said: "None is more enslaved than one who falsely believe he is free".

A store brand bag of tortilla chips at the local WalMart where I live was $2.29 a bag just a couple months ago. Over the last two months, it went back down to $1.98 a bag (and it's not "on sale"). It went back to its original price over the last few years. But to the average Trump supporter it would be blasphemy to get them to acknowledge that fact.
What is tortilla??? .. flour, water, and a bit of oil... honestly. An American that lived in Europe in the 80's... had to learn to make it myself... It's crazy that no one in the US can cook.. or make anything. I gave up blasphemy for Lent, because I cannot curse an entity I don't even believe in.
Groceries are still expensive as fuck where I live in South Carolina. I don’t blame Biden for that. I blame the greedy corporations who produce the food and goods and use international conflicts as an excuse for jacking up the prices.

Before the Pandemic the price of gas started to go up and people were upset about it. Donald Trump was President at the time and he said that he couldn't do anything about gas prices.
I’m no Trump fan, but the president has very little control over gas prices. The prices are controlled worldwide by OPEC. During covid the prices went up because very few people were not driving, sales went down and prices went up to stabilize the industry.
That was my point people are blaming President Biden now and he's not responsible for the price of gas.
That woman probably never leaves her neighborhood.

You can begin collecting retirement at 38 years old, then go work for the government and get another retirement from the same government that employed you meanwhile collect retirement on your military income for 2-3 times as long as you worked. I’m not saying that military people don’t make a contribution. I’m saying that it afford and kind of security that the average working class American has an experience since they almost extinguished unions.

I just found you for the first time. Listened to two callers. The scary problem with Trump supporters isn’t the loaf of bread. It’s that they’re not listening to the news. It’s downright painful but I check out what Trump is saying and doing every single day. The man terrifies me. The woman caller said it’s all because of his one p…y-grabbing remark doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Wonder how many of Trump’s die-hard supporters know he appealed to the Supreme Court for total immunity for crimes he has or may commit, even for assassinating his political opponents, and his appointed justices gave him free reign to do whatever he wants. I wish Trumpers would check out independent news sources providing true facts and showing documents backing the information they provide. My personal favorite - Meidas Touch: Because Truth is Golden❤

I think you would have to blame this on Oprah Winfrey. She constantly had opinions about things she knew nothing about and routinely argued with experts who knew much more than she did. It was amazing to see experts scared to death to contradict her even when she said idiotic things. Rush Limbaugh did it in a more calculating fashion when his show paid people to call in with canned questions so that he wouldn't be challenged or contradicted. However, it was probably Fox News that institutionalized it with outright lies rather than just arrogant ignorance.
Dr. Hunter, i am befuddled by Black people not realizing how serious this election is. Why in the world did our ancestors fight so hard for our freedom for our community to be at this point. Have you seen the video where a woman acts like she is putting a bridle on a horse's mouth and head, but she has nothing in her hand, and when she goes to move as if she was holding the lead the horse follows like it was bridled. A small example of a mind that has been hacked. Unfortunately, we see that everyday, people following as if they are doing something in their best interests.
