I had a 1976 cutlass with the exact same color interior. in seeing more of this interior, it reminds me more and more of my oldsmobile. those door panels and doors especially - minus the handle
I've got a 1976 Eldorado convertible custom, she's got the big-head "Rolls-Royce" grille, faux Continental kit, flying goddess off a '46 Caddy, and some other fun bitties on her from the factory. Was roughly a 28k car in 76, and she's only just about at 95k miles. I bought her at 94, so she's definitely rolling. Got the big old 500 cubic inch 8.2L 4 barrel with the cast iron heads
This car was not modified by a coal worker. My Grandfather Les Dunham modified this car, his name is Les Dunham of Dunham Coach. He created the Corvorado, Caballista, and modified many others.
fmbjogger: Clarification: ASC (American Sunroof Corporation) as it was called then were shipped cars (by all the Big 3) mostly completed cars with and without stamped opening for the sunroof/moon-roof already welded/finished and painted to the structure. Then, out of Respect,ASC did the: manual/power sunroof-moon-roof installation. In some cases,GM,Ford,Chrysler would send the roof stamping to ASC...they not only had to remove the glass and roof panel already in place but weld, braze, and do the lead work for the sunroof stamping....but also were responsible for the blending of new paint. Now the 1974-1976 Cadillacs with a power steel panel or glass-panel sunroof "called Astro Roof"are rare indeed (1,000+units per year) were all that ASC could do with their small facilities and limited yet highly skilled labor force. As the German immigrant that started ASC (with $700.00 in his pocket);he invented and patented the power tilt/slide moon-roof/sunroof as most people know it. Jack Roush would go on to butcher the company/sell-off the patents-tooling to the Germans (Webasto, maker of aftermarket and factory sunroof/moon-roof assemblies). ASC made the most durable "Factory" and aftermarket sunroof assemblies ever. Although ASC did many engineering and contractual products like the Saab 900 convertible,Toyota Celica convertible,etc./etc. they had no part in the pimp-moblie/super fly Caddys.....period!
voitdive: I agree with you 100%....but as crazy at it may seem.....many of the wacky pimp-mobile specials survived (and some in pristine conditions)all these years and not going to the crusher because of the very fact they are/were pimp-mobiles.
No gangasta whitewalls or tv antennas innnnn the back....you may not haaaaave a car at all,but remember bruthas and sistas, you can still stand tall. Sorry,I had to 😁😂😀😎🤷🏾♂️
Did you fix the window switches? That vinyl top is one of the thickest Ive ever seen and it was in perfect shape when I last saw the car. The continental kit is a really high quality one very well built.
The story of this car living in a coal town is ludacris. Mining towns are Christian hard working folks. This car and the pimp that owned it wouldn't last 24 hours in a coal town. Even without the bells and whistles it screams Chicago.
So ugly and such a lousy car to boot. Nothing great about these old cars. I lived it. Have had a Toyota Camry for many years (2007). Amazingly good car. Also have a 2001 Buick LeSabre. The 7th and 8th generation Buicks have just enough problems to keep you connected to the "good old days" of cars like this without you having to spend every weekend with the car taken apart in your driveway and/or making the repair shop your second home and favorite place to "invest" your paycheck. I never thought I would see the day when cars produced after 1972 would be objects to be fawned over. Cars are so much better today to DRIVE.
I love these old caddys, every car show I attend I flock to to older Cadillac. Love it
Beautiful car, when I was a child I was vicious over these cars and I still love them, you are a lucky owner :)
Love superfly Cadillacs! Those headlights make the whole car pop.
From a time of wretched excess. Love it and definitely miss it.

Only Cadillac ♡♡♡

This is an American Sunroof custom , not a Dunham creation.
fmbjogger well at least the front end has been done by Dunham. Les owns the patents to those custom headlights

D McNamara
I’ve heard the opposite, that almost none of these cars survived.
Nice car 👍
You know what they say about opinions but if you own the car you can customize it and wow what a ride!

Funny how no one mentioned this is a black Pimps ride from the 70`s. He must of fell on hard times and sold it.
How do you know who owned or sold it? Or are yo just making an ignorant assumption? I suspect the latter.
@@AngelsTakeMe2Heaven There's a few racist caucasoids in these comments which of course doesn't surprise me. So glad Amerikkka is on it's last leg.
Hi is this Cadillac for sale please?
الله
To each his own I suppose! Not my cup of tea!
Missing white walls!! Without the white walls it doesn't look complete.
HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR IT , AND HOW MUCH DO YOU STILL HAVE TO SPEND IN ORDER TO MAKE IT AESTHETICALLY AND TECHNICALLY AS BEST AS POSSIBLE ?
Big body
That front end needs to be restored and the seats need to be leather, other than that it's nice. Just MY opinion.
It needs white wall tires.

You mean supafly*
Why would anybody want to do that and completely ruin the car and shame Cadillac
Why would anyone ghetto out a nice car like that
Are you talking about the way Cadillac had options to do it or something else lol????
@@iluvrachellef weather factory or aftermarket it looks like shit
@@troydestroys Lol I agree on the front end, very goofy. Back and side are nice except for those bland ass tires.
That shit is whack.
Ruined a nice Caddy!!!

I bought a 14 Camry in 18 and I freakin love it. Everyone tells me it'll last forever lol.
a mutilated cadillac proof of bad taste
