Dude I've been listening to Classic reggae from the late 60s 70s and 80s and 90s and sometimes even today's reggae or after the new millennium. I've also been listening 2 Roots reggae all the way to count a c for what has to be 15 years now and I'm 28. The Gladiators have always been in my top two favorite reggae bands and I have scoured the internet band albums and CDs and even tapes 4 all these classics but today at 10 40 p.m. I have listened to this song for the first time ever!!! It's crazy to me how much time I've devoted into finding hidden gems Roots reggae and reggae in general and it's like I still keep getting rewarded with new material that I've never heard before after 15 years of listening to it! This has to be one of my favorites that I've ever heard from the Gladiators because the message is just so powerful. I know that reggae is mostly created by musicians that follow the Rastafarian religion but I tell you this I don't follow the rest of our religion but I do follow reggae as my religion because dude they've got so much wisdom in a music and so many deep poetic him's and quotes to God in their music that it can be a religion in and of itself. I'm so thankful I got turned onto reggae at such a young age because it's helped me get through so much shit in my life. People say in a rock and roll and rap music and country music of all helped them get through life but I feel like they have literally missed out by not getting into reggae because reggae's got so many more powerful messages and it's music then all of the other genres including Soul music and gospel combined! Thank you God for guiding a bunch of young men and sometimes women in the late 60s and early 70s and so forth throughout the years into creating this beautiful music called reggae. Seriously thank you God for that one because I feel like the Rastafarian religion and reggae in general is by far as a track record of religions has the best one and preaches the most badass beautiful message of all of them. I know this is a long rant and is only going to be seeing by a handful of people in the world but I'm just glad to have been able to live this life long enough to find this beautiful message in a song
