Were the pools open for swimming in June of 2023?

Yes the pools are open. The Pools of Ohe’o has been shut down in 2017 for two years due to a slip and fall a visitor had, but they reopened in 2019. People missed the pools as they are so unique and a big reason people drive up to Hana.

You said something aboit about a national park but then said it was a state park...can you tell me the name?

There is one national park - Haleakalā National Park - and one state park - ʻĪao Valley State Monument. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that.

Went to Maui for our honeymoon. Did most of these things. They were extraordinary. Planning to go back for our 20th anniversary next year. 😊
