Eco Styler Gel vs X-treme (Wetline) Gel | Wash & Go Type 4 Hair

- In this video I compare the Eco Styler Argan Oil Gel with the X-treme (Wetline) Gel on my type 4 hair. Watch to see if there's a noticeable difference or if they give the same results.
The sound effect at the removal of your cap was spot on! LOL. I began using Eco Styler Black Castor & Flaxseed Oil first and tried Wetline Xtreme. I later learned to check my gel with the cream or leave in to see if they blended well or beaded up. If they didn't mix well, it was sure to flake. This saves a lot of wash and go's for me. Your tapered cut and curl pattern - too cute!!
Hi Toni 🤣 yesssss about the sound effect my hat be saving me lol!!! Thank you for the compliment, my curl pattern is cute in the front but the back.......is a whole other beast 😫 and yes it’s trial and error when it comes to choosing products 😏

I use both. Xtreme does a good job at keeping it really defined. But a lot of the Eco Styler ones I tried ( clear, olive oil and the brown protein (best imo) does a good job at volume. One week I like eco, the other I like Xtreme.
Hi Marlon, Ok now I have to try the brown protein one because you said that and because from the looks of your profile pic your hair look really nice and defined 👌🏾 I’m all about definition the volume come as the days go on, as we all know. Even tho the wet line did a great job I just can’t give up the ecostyler 😩

7:57 I swear you could model and that taper is everything. Sorry for the simping I just couldn't help myself. These two gels are in my top as well, Eco Red gives a tiny bit more shine and dries faster for me but Wetline mixes better with everything and they both look the same haha. I just go by the weather, if it's hot/dry out I pick Wetline, if it's Humid/Wet/Cold I pick Eco Red cus the protein & oils help fight the environment

Hate that this is considered simping in some circles. Really wish we could just accept being nice to one another and complimenting each other. Very well said, she’s has a lovely taper.

How long do your wash n go’s last?
At least a week but I try to shampoo weekly I don’t usually go longer then that even though I could because it still usually look good. I’m going to make a video on how I maintain and touch up my hair in between wash days😉
Did you find that the wet line had less crunch than eco? That’s been my experience which is why I prefer wet line. Also, do you always just do leave-in than the gel without using some type of curl activator? I’ve been on the fence but I’m noticing more naturals doing that as a step before the gel.
Yes I did find the same which is why I prefer the Eco because I feel like eco give a better hold. With the wet line I feel like I had day 3 or 4 hair on day 2 which I feel my hair doesn’t last as long with the wet line because the “hold” isn’t there it’s a “softer” finish then the eco. I actually use the L.O.C method leave in, oil and creme always - by doing this I feel the eco isn’t crunchy for me my hair feels very moisturized, shiny and defined.
