The double and the princess royal is the best drama I’ve watched this year. And I rarely rewatch drama, but these two are so exceptionally well done I can’t help myself.

Love Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is really good. The chemistry is off the charts. Double is good also, although 10 episodes too long and You are my Secret is cute.
I just finished As Beautiful As You today. I also like the drama. Han Ting's love for Xing was great and deep. I shed tears a couple of times while watching. Though it was a happy ending but why my heart hurt when Hsn Ting died while holding Xing's hands plus the forgiveness card which made my heart heavy😢

Some mistakes in titles but why not, except these are not from 2024. I watched most of these with pleasure and came back to check how I remembered the "folk song" in A Female Student Arrives At The Imperial.College, and have a laugh at Ao Ruipeng, Xu Kaicheng and Ren Hao hiding under the bed of Zhao Lusi in that famous scene. That drama is indeed underrated.

I most times drop cdramas halfway because they are too slow and have same storyline. Usually a man or woman forming hard to get and female leads trying to be cute.
I liked The Double up to a point and then it lost me. to many unrealistic twists and turns, in the end turned me off. I liked As Beautiful As You, i didn't think the two leads would work, Xu Kai I never rated before i thought he was just a pretty face and not much more, but he was terrific in this drama and good chemistry with the FL, so a nice surprise. I see from the list there are some more i should check out so thank you.
Watched them all, except 12 and 13! Indeed a list of the most popular ones in different genres. Although I would have added To The Wonder (8.9 Douban !!) and maybe silly cult item short one Embrace In the Dark Night. My favorites were Amidst a snowstorm of love (Wu Lei and Maimai were 🔥, As Beautiful As You (Seven Tan and Xu Kai were 🤗🥰❤️, The Tale of Rose (Liu Yifei and Lin Gengxin, more than for the other 3), The Legend of Shen Li, (Zhao Liying and Lin Gengxin again 😻 ) Blossoms in Adversity (Hu Yitian came out as sweet, and I love Zhang Jingyi since a couple dramas like Lighter and Princess), + Angels Fall Sometimes (Lin Yi in a more 'serous subject) I saw the three Lin Yi ones but was not hooked by Everybody Loves Me bc of Zhou Ye. And I grew annoyed by some glaring misleading of audience about ancient instruments in the Double : it was a guzheng that was featured, not a guqin!!! And the actresses had no idea how to handle the beast, so the CGI patched it up almost xianxia style, which was wtf! + the ending -lamentable, the 3-5 minutes later addition patched it up but it was ruined for me long before. Only saving grace was ML Wang Xingyue,who deservedly skyrocketed to stardom bc of this (I watched episodes only to admire him!!). All the others were fine, and I still finished those latter two, so yes, watchable, but addictive? Not for ELM. The Double does have swashbuckling qualities so it will remain popular. I don't think any of those were really underrated in that list: Shen Li topped charts and As Beautiful As You too. The Tale of Rose was still in the top ten watched 11 weeks after airing.. Now go watch full of plotholes bridged over by insane chemistry Embrace in the Dark Night. That's an addictive one for sure, and Jesse Ren will become a familiar name when you next come across it! That one is truly underrated. Or, although not really underrated either since it climbed from 8.1 to 8. 2 in recent days on Douban when it is still airing: adventures and thrills with Escape from the Triangular Slopes, led by Guo Qilin who was hitherto remembered as the comedic younger brother of Fan Xian in Joy of Life.

False. It was literally perfect drama. Maybe you like dramatic twist and turns unrealistic plot lines. People love it because finally we got a healing drama. The friendship, non toxic love and build each other up while living their independent lives was an extremely appealing part of the drama which I have not seen in my years of watching k, c and j-dramas. It was nice to watch a drama where it always moved forward and made you smile for the entire 30 episodes. I think this was one drama where the main leads were as simple as I can imagine ~~~
