How much are those $100/month fee condos going for though? Probably a lot less than these ones? Why anyone would want a pool when you have a huge ocean in front of you boggles mind tiny mind. And a hot tub in a hot country? Huh? Maybe a few days in January, first thing in the morning? The things gringos spend money on is bizarre.
@@swilhelm3180 The ocean water is polluted. All the new constructions do not have proper sewer systems if they have them at all. You can get rashes when swimming in the ocean. This is why the pools are so popular.

I'd like to know why in Mexico we so often see unfinished real estate projects. Do they run out of money? How can you build half of something then just stop for months?
Many times it happens. .which do not have proper building permits.
@@mariamar2114 I saw one for years in Acapulco on the main road that runs along the water. The property was waterfront, worth a fortune. But most just look like there was a minor earthquake and everyone walked away. It seems like its a culture of not finishing things. Like apathy is almost admired. Very strange way to live.

@@MyMemories07 No, just closed in June. But I'm looking for something different than most. I speak fluent Spanish and prefer to live in an average neighborhood, not a subdivision and not a condo. There are plenty of foreigners in the area, but I'm looking for cultural immersion. It all depends on your lifestyle and future goals.

So expensive for being so far away from Puerto Vallarta. One should not compare Bucareas to PV. It like comparing Toronto to rural areas outside Toronto or for example Comparing Ottawa to Arnprior.

@@mgrstudios619 What would a small, simple, non-lavish, 1 br apartment go for a few blocks from a desirable area go for? 50k?
One problem for foreigners that are not citizens of Mexico is the Fideicomiso which really hurts if its a cheap property because its mostly a fixed initial cost of at least $3000 apparently. If you're buying something for 30k that's 10%! If its $300,000 who cares? Its just 1%.

Higher HOA fees are a reality that can not be controlled... Prices have increased for electric and gas.. be realistic!

Hi- How realistic do you think it is to find a smallish 1BR in Bucerias (or 5 de diciembre in PV) with a good clean ocean view, that’s 10-15 walk to the beach? Budget $200-250k.

Yes, B-100 is underground on the same level as the underground parking area. That’s the main reason it’s priced so low compared to other 2 bedroom condos. Note that although it’s on the parking level, you don’t have to walk through the parking lot to reach the unit and the view of the parking area will be blocked when you get off the elevator to enter the unit

Too much road driving thru PV before you get into Bucerias.
I'm sure if you live in Bucerias you spend most of your time there. That's the point of choosing a location. Driving in Mexico is not recommended for foreigners if you can avoid it. Better to hire a driver.

We are delusional in our pursuit of cleanliness, meanwhile our immune system is so weakened by garbage food and antibiotics we can't even withstand a flu. If we were healthy we wouldn't have even noticed Covid. A little dirt in your life is good for you. Walking barefoot on dirt is good for you.
