- Fairies have been dying at an alarming rate in Neverland, as time goes on and the human world evolves more and more children simply no longer believe in fairies. And we all know the moment that happens a fairy is lost. Tinkerbell and her friends watch as their loved ones disappear one after another, their numbers dwindle and hope has long faded. Loss is something we all must go through but when it becomes an almost weekly occurrence Tinkerbell knows something must be done.
She begins her research, trying to understand the connection between humans and fairies. Maybe there was a way to sever the connection? To allow fairies to exist independent of human beliefs, but that would be impossible. A fairy is born from the first laugh of a newborn human baby, the bond between humans and fairies is directly linked to their existence. Tinkerbell tests many different theories to try and allow fairies to live free from human influence, but everytime she comes up blank. And as the weeks and months go by, Tinkerbell's bitterness towards the human race grows and grows. Fairies, full of magic and wonder and power, at the mercy of simple, insignificant, ungrateful children. It simply isn't fair.
Until one fateful day, Tinkerbell comes up with one last theory… If a fairy is born of a newborn's laugh, then maybe, just maybe, it’s the very same child that causes their eventual death. If Tink could ensure the child connected to her never lost faith, the children connected to her friends never lost faith, then she could at least keep herself and her loved ones alive. And so on their next trip to the mainland Tinkerbell convinces her friends to follow her plan, to find these children, take them away from their homes and bring them up in Neverland.
And so, they left, flying over the mainland and clinging to this final sliver of hope. They searched for hours with no luck, all seemed lost, how could they possible tell which child was theirs? That was until Tink felt a inexplicable pull to a window. And inside the window lay a young boy, no more than a few years old and she knew they'd done it. Tink had found Peter Pan. Her friends with a new surge of hope find their humans in the next few hours. Stolen from their cribs they were spirited away to the land of the fairies, to ensure they never stopped believing in fairies and never grew up.
Everything was going well, Tink and her friends were safe, until some strangers arrived in Neverland and put everything she’s worked so hard to protect at risk. Wendy, with her stories of home and family, whispering in the lost boys' ears, in Peter's ear. What if they decided to go back with her? What if they decided to grow up? It was something Tink simply couldn't allow, and so to protect her and her friends she would see Wendy fall.
I really love that song. But I should like to see how Hook and the pirates reactoins.

Tinkerbelle may have been the villain but... she had a good point and a reason. She was protecting what was hers.

Don't forget, by keeping Peter, she's not only protecting herself but she has a twin sister called periwinkle and if Peter stops believing in fairies both of them die
She also killed another fairy by killing Wendy, a kid who could've have understood what Tinkerbell was going through. Both due to her iwn age but because tinkerbell cant be understood by humans.
I get what Tinkerbell is doing, but she is definitely a villian in the best way here. Sinister, manipulative, cold blooded.

@@star22sally67 wendy in every version where she is brought to Neverland and tries to take the Lost Boys home is always "more mature" and "doesn't believe in fantasy" (at least from what I have read and seen) so in regards to Tinkerbell having killed a fairy it is highly unlikely. Wendy in theory would have already killed her fairy by having "grown up". This is usually proven by the fact that Wendy can't hear Tinkerbell talking to her in most of the stories. Which also means they couldn't even talk out the situation to begin with.
Don't get me wrong Tink is still the villain here, but Wendy is the villain to Tink. Someone who, in essence, is trying to kill her friends and family just because the consequences don't affect her and she doesn't understand why she should care. Just like how Wendy thinks she is protecting the lost boys from a dangerous place by taking them away, Tink is trying to protect her family and friends from being killed by someone trying to take away the only people keeping them alive. For Tink Wendy is a Nurse that just decides to pull the plug on a life support machine without ever having talked to her, but for Wendy she's just trying to bring people to where she thinks they'll be better off.
Both have their reasons and neither is inherently right or wrong for trying to save lives. But like anything in life something, or someone, will choose the darker option when there is nothing else left to them.
"A villan is a victim you havent met yet" is a really good quote from my bsf that alines with this tinkerbell isnt the villan she was protecting her family and her friends from death

Nah, she was a villain straight up in this. Lots of ways to counter it, even just existing near the boys , return days and so on. Lots of ways to fix this easily as long as you even attempt to communicate.
The reason Tinker was trying to kill Wendy is because Wendy was telling the kids to grow up which was making the kids stop believing in fairies which was killing fairies at a fast rate, Tinker was in the right if you ask me 🤷
She still have other options than just killed an innocent child who just telling other kids her life
I don’t understand how them seeing and personally knowing at least one fairy would mean they would stop believing in them somehow.
I get it’s supposed to be symbolic, but still.

If we go by that logic imagine if they had left the Neverland…. People often forget how important fairies are….. afterall in the first movie of tinkerbell they explained their role in the seasons and how important their magic and dust are…. If they died not only would the seasons not exist but the Neverland would erase from existence… killing countless creatures

They probably don't think Tinkerbell killed Wendy, because she flew around Wendy while she was falling to make it seem like she was covering her in pixie dust but didn't, so from how high up Peter was it looked like Wendy couldn't fly because she didn't have faith or trust, two of the three things needed.

This au actually is very said, the fairies depending on human belief to actually SURVIVE is crazy, fairies dying a lot would surely cause some fairies to lash out to protect themselves.

Not bad! Not bad at all, honestly Peter reaction at the end was heartbreaking to see. In the movie when something bad happens to Wendy, he always tried to justify it was only for fun (such as when the mermaids throw water at her when they were acting out of jealousy). So now Peter knows the real mindset of Tink and the others inhabitants of Neverland (at least in this timeline)

Honestly, NO ONE at this point is at fault. Lets first start by saying that faeries are born from a baby's first laugh.. and they live by the belief of their assigned humans. So if they stop believing and actually grow up, being more matured thinking. The existence of their faeries fade away as they eventually died.
Tinkerbell, was not in fault, as she did everything as desperation. It's either one human's life as a sacrifice or her kinds extinction.( 💀 ) Faeries in the books were also confirmed to only feel one emotion at a time depending on the situation, as it bottles up even more and more. Tinkerbell felt vengeful, she had to do everything just to keep the boys in Neverland. She needed them not only for herself to live, but for her friends who has lived up till this point. I would have a feeling the lost boys would be mad at Tink, but if they knew her side, they'd still be angry, but will feel more remorseful... in the end, Tinker wasn't at fault, doing everything she takes all for the sake of the lives of every faerie kind.
Peter Pan, I'd feel like he'd actually develop a care for Wendy, considering the movies I've watched of the Neverlands. In the music video, Peter never saw Tink's perspective, and didn't know why she'd want Wendy to fall.. but if he did know, I feel like he'd most likely let Wendy go. He grew up getting raised by the faeries from Neverland, so his mannerisms would be different compared to others, and most definitely his personality and mindset. But he may still have feelings, empathy, guilt, heartbroken. In my opinion if he knew, he'd definitely still be in Tink's side, no matter what, humans are humans, they still die in the end.. and the Neverlands make them basically immortal. But he would still be hurt considering Wendy(I think is his first love? In the music video, just by the way he always saves her and looks at her.) But he knows he needs to let her go.
Now this is a little controversial. But I'm very confident to say Wendy, IS NOT AT FAULT. Actually, she's the most innocent one if you look at her side. Poor Wendy was just a child... she didn't know anything better, that Tinker and faeries existed, that if people stopped believing in them that they'd go extinct. I have a feeling that if she did know, she'd definitely do the opposite and instead help Tinker. She knew nothing at all, all she knew was that she's having fun and helping people, but all she's ever experienced is trauma, trauma, DEATH. In my opinion, I feel like she didn't deserve to die, that the music video could've ended somewhere else?
But who am I to say? This is Tinkerbell's villain story and I'm honestly loving it🥰💋🫶
