It's been a long time since I've heard Mark - another great country singer. He also has a similar song theme in his too hot to fish and "Too Cold at Home." I can only relate to the fish part.
It was fun to dance to. He also had a hit with "I'll Think Of Something". It was a remake of a Hank Jr. song but Mark really made it his own. It's a relatively short song so the instrumental at the end really allows you to close your eyes and feel it.
I love Mark Chestnut I got to see him Neal McCoy and Joe Diffie in concert together they put on a great show. This was always one of my favorites even when I was young before I knew what he was talking about just because it was so upbeat.
Wow Don, you nailed this reaction. Always loved this song. It was all over the radio a few years after my own visit to the Big D. Fortunately I had enough distance to really appreciate the clever lyrics, and it always brought a smile. And you're absolutely right about Mark's voice. Another one of my faves is Brother Jukebox - I don't think you've done that one yet. Thanks again Don
Thank you so much Don! Mark’s also from my hometown. He was in the hospital waiting room with my mom (she was there waiting on my grandma’s surgery). He’s very down to earth. Thank you again!! Just Pam : )
This is so funny. I was digging through some of your older videos just last night and found the Jerry Reed song. It's hard to express how appreciative I am of Mark's throwback sound. He's so good.
I had seen Mark Chesnutt in concert about five years ago it was just him and two others in his band doing an acoustic concert. He had people call out songs and this one guy asked for him to sing Jolie. He told him to give him a couple of minutes and then he sang it. When he finished Mark told him that it's one of his songs and he never sang at a concert and no one has never requested it. It was nice to the artist not just brush the person off. If you get the chance to see him concert you have to seen me. Thanks for posting and hope to see more of Mark Chesnutt.
OK love me some mark chestnut and yes this is such a fun upbeat song on a very sad subject about the issue of divorce but also whenever I see title of this song I almost feel like I got to sing the second part of that line of where the title comes from OK that line is so much fun and so dang catchy as well
Thanks for this Don! Love Mark and a big thanks to Pamita for the request. As Mr. Barnett mentioned please hit the like button. Don is too shy to ask but we need him to feel the love ❤️
Mark Chestnut was discovered by George Jones aka " The Possum " . He is a great artist with some of the best Country songs 🎵 ever recorded! Love the video and your comments ! Keep on grinding my friend 💯 Build it , and they will come !! Best of luck !!❤
Good Morning, great reaction Don, great request Pamita! Love Mark he was a big part of the neo-traditionlist move Kent of the 90's. @@jamestate5059 look up Mark covering the Kiss song Beth. He tells a story and then sings the song. I've not listened to enough Garth to know much about him
Love Mark Chestnut . even in the 90s he was a throwback country guy. His song Too Cold At Home is so classic

Thank you for understanding that professional musicians don't do "covers", the remake songs to be their own!

Interesting fact Mark is a huge Kiss fan. He sometimes covers Beth in his shows
Sure you are not talking about Garth? Mark could be but I had never heard that before but Garth is a huge KISS fan

Funny 🤣 💕 this
This is no joke
If you go back to Mark Chestnut, I'd suggest My Old Flames Have New Names or Bubba Shot The Jukebox. Both are humorous numbers.
Hi Don. For something along the same lines, you should review Rub-A-Dubbin by Ken Mellons
tu all
For father day you should do The Box by randy Travis.
My real life daddy was married 5 times!!!!!!!! 5
until you said that i never put them together, how close this one is to jerry Reed's she got the goldmine, they are very similar
Watch adalida by George strait
