What a gift you are Albert. This one was fascinating and inspiring! You made my Sunday morning here in Massachusetts USA! Thank you for brightening up our lives.❤
Wow- not just fantastic artists and and a new way to create but a whole art movement I didn’t know about- Amazing, thankyou!! I feel completely pampered 😂❤
Thanks, JoJo. Enjoy creating in new ways. The video on Jean Tinguely (link in the video and below in the description under the video) can give a lot of background information. Albert
Even the pronunciation lesson was inspiring! Beyond grateful for your willingness to share your creative process and introducing me to unfamiliar artists. Thank you!🥰
Thanks, Rachel. I like to share 'the other artists'. The well-known are already well-known and less interesting to me. Just go along and enjoy the ride. Nice to know you're on-board. Albert
Thanks, Paul. That's another way of putting it. But isn't there always beauty in destruction? A half demolished building can look great. Mosaic from broken tiles. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Albert
Thanks, Karen. I make notes, too, when I see an interesting artist. Otherwise, I would forget them. Nice to browse through the list on the couch on a rainy day. Albert
Reminds me of the random bits and layers of wallpaper that you’d discover years ago when redecorating. Like scraps of memories that somehow ‘stuck’. Another really interesting video Albert. A Sunday morning treat! Thank you. Now I’m off to watch the links too😊
Thanks, Clare. Yes, indeed, the kids are allowed to make drrawings on the wall and wallpsper over it. Creating a treasure for later on. Enjoy your Sunday/,weekend. Albert
Great video, Albert full of ideas and inspiration. I particularly like how you did that last one by painting two colors and then throwing the confetti on top as a random way to scrap off the surface of the paint. I'll have to try that once I get my house repairs back in order and back to normal.
Thanks, Culture Fan. It was fun to think in new ways because of how he worked. Confetti was also fun because of 2 out of 6 landed next to the paper. Good luck with your house repairs. Albert
Great video, Albert! I really like the busy, randomness of this decollage method. There's just something aesthetically pleasing about this sort of tortured surface. To me it seems to give the idea of the past through depths of activity and life. But that also shows it's vulnerability and finality being subject to the elements of time and the forces of nature.
Thanks, Jarl. Indeed, there is more to it than just paper. It is a way of looking differently at something nobody sees. I became aware that this sort of 'news'-distribution is regulated out of my city without realizing it. Again, another underground stream is canceled. So indeed, the fabric of society is vulnerable, perhaps too vulnerable to leave it to businesses because it feels a bit like censorship. The next time I see a Loesje poster, I will appreciate it more. Albert
Hi just wanted to say, great video. If you mix 70/30 pva glue and water in a dish then add paint. Spread it as you did on the plastic you can get a stronger peel. A lot like acrylic pours, thanks from Australia.
Dank u!👍🏽🖌️❤️🖤💛
Thanks, Karen. I absolutely love the artwork of Alfred Jensen. Never heard of him, but very soon, you will see a video on his artwork. There is so much to see, tell, and experiment. Thanks, again. Albert
