I just found out something, isnt that weird how the company gets a huge supply of workers who gets replaced instantly while we are asking the question wheres everyone, well everyone are the players, they turn into workers who feeds that giant monster,its just a theory .
It might be a conscription thing, as we can see from a poster in the ship, food conservation seems to be a big problem. We can infer that this means that the Earth is overpopulated. Hiring for the company could be a way of population control.
