Just picked up one an hour back for 25000 indian rupees, which is also the printed price. My first automatic.
I got it for 19,756 INR from Amazon after a 2% discount and 1500 off from a credit card!
so any cons on it how is it now after 6 months of use any verdict ? any regrets ?
Bought one this Saturday. Converted to $ I paid 280$ in Sweden Black Friday. Was looking at a dress watch. But the shop owner had another Seiko 5 on him... And that looked so good. So took a look at all Seiko 5 in his shop and this one caught my eye.
I was on the fence about this one as I saw a brown one for great price, but decided not to pull the trigger. You're making me reconsider. 😂
The brown (or burnt orange) was the one I liked when they first came out! But something about this teal hit me this time. Plenty of the orange available at a good price too. It's SRPJ47.
I felt the same about the brown one - especially now when the prices are dropping down.
@@xHarryAngelx Fun getting a Seiko you dig at more than $100 below retail! It's like the old days/prices...😂
Cool watch 😎 nice pick up🤙 definitely worth it….only at the right price though ✌️✌️✌️
Great watch. Prices seem to bounce around and I managed to get mine at a decent discount. I tried it on a leather and also rubber strap but put it back on the bracelet as it looks better imo.
I'm really digging this watch...more than I thought I would. Yes, I've noticed the prices fluctuating too. I've done the same! I've got a sailcloth strap that it looks really good on, though, so I bounce back and forth. Thinking about upgrading to a better quality bracelet via Uncle Seiko...
Thanks for the cool review, ı ordered one at the moment. I hope ıt will worth of looking cool.;)
If you like it in this video, you're going to love it in person! It's one of my favorite watches lately.
Wow that time sonar is pretty cool, I had no idea about that piece or this tribute piece. Loving that tone of blue on it and the skx case is 🔥🔥🔥! Could have used just a touch of lume on the bezel haha, but other than that I dig it! Cool review Witt! 😎👍🍻
Yes, the blue/teal is a great hue! This is my first SKX case...I'm really diggin' it! Shame about the bezel not being lumed, but add to that list: push/pull crown, only 100m WR, and hollow bracelet. Definitely a step down in the spec department, but at this price still a good value piece for today's Seiko.
Ordering this now, will edit if I'm happy or not, thanks for the review my bro!
The teal color is getting harder to find, I think. I like the brown dial version too, but this one wins!
Great review! Im curious. What is the yellow dial in the background of your shot toward the end of the video?
I love this watch! I also love that yellow dial watch you’re asking about! That’s the VanBanner PM 2.0…they’re sold out, but if you want to see more, here’s a video link for it: ua-cam.com/video/4iQRfNHDIK4/v-deo.html A new version might be released in the future…
Very cool watch for the money. Nice work on the review. Not all reviewers cover weight and do a Timegrapher.
Yes, at this price it feels like the "old" Seiko value days! Thanks for the compliment. In unboxing videos I try to throw it on the timegrapher just to get an idea of how it looks before run in period. On full reviews I tend to show my data chart of hand timed entries over 2 to 3 weeks.
I’m on the fence about the translucent dial. Nice colour though
Depending on the lighting, it sometimes just appears as a blue/teal dial...you can't see the day/date characters underneath. But for the most part you can!
Is it look good on 6.4 inch wrist? I loved this watch but confused in between SRPK33K1 midi blue and this one. Also do you any other suggestions thank you ❤
Depends on how BIG you like your watches to look. I think you could pull it off, but I don't mind an oversized look. So it's just a matter of opinion. The SRPK33 is a little smaller. It's 38mm in diameter, and this is 42mm.
Not a huge Seiko fan but I do like the design and colours.
I'm a huge Seiko fan ONLY when the price is right on the watch I want! Otherwise I'm completely content staying in the microbrand lane! I need to get my hands on some Orient watches...the new Seiko value equivalent. That original Time Sonar is cool, right?!
@@WatchWitt I hear you mate. I have the Ken Street Fighter Edition Seiko but only because I used to play SF2 as a kid 😂 like the idea of a translucent dial tho
When you get a “good” Seiko, everything feels right with the world! 😂 JK. Ironically, I’ve got a very cool smoky translucent dial review coming up from BOLDR…can’t take it off…it’s a stunner!
I bought both colors. Seiko dials keep me coming back. It's becoming a nightmare 😅
Way to go! I love the other color too...these are really cool dials. I love how you can see the texture under macro!
Will it look good on a 6 Inch wrist?
It would probably look a little large, but doable. Really just depends on your preference.
where i can order?
I have links in the description. About $209 at Jomashop right now, but quantities are limited. These are probably going to start running out of stock most places.
How to buy Japanese version Seiko 5 watches from India.
I would think it's the same as here in the States. Model numbers ending in "J1" are the Japan version, and usually just a bit more expensive than the model version that ends in "K1."
if you got it cheap its fake haha
Well, it wasn't cheap...just cheaper than MSRP. This is NOT a fake watch. Good to have those sensibilities about you in today's world, though!
@@WatchWitt ok good luck man do get it tested haha. well you are an expert yourself
@@WizTrip-k1bIt's cheap because a translucent dial is not many people's cup of tea.
Seiko is master of the dial, and that's what keeps us coming back for more!
Yes, such a great dial...and especially at this price point!
