I also opened up an IC if you want to help with bug reporting: issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-145555#contribution:3efba589-873a-489e-8167-f104a3dfa995
Thank you for not being one of those people who just complain and instead you actually reported it and it hopefully is fixed before the patch goes live.
There are some bugs appearing when you cross server borders. Things disapear from the cargogrid and sometimes, you are trespassing in your own ship. This makes it difficult to leave your ship and store it. Just report theses bugs on the issue council. Its exactly what CIG is looking for to be fixed.

I have a Vanguard Warden and I loot bounties taking their gear and components. I store the items in the back. The Warden doesn't have a cargo grid and i can hear the items bounce around in normal and quantum travel. All of the time, I loose between 30-70% of the items in the back when I travel anywhere particularly QT 'ing between Crusader and Hurston. Additionally, I've noted items will clip and fall out of a freelancer. 3.23.X and 3.24.X have been partiality bad for clipping. Clipping though is a years old issue that CIG appear unable or unwilling to address. I'm tired of putting this into the Issue Council to have it archived or fade off into oblivion. 4.0 is an inflection point for CIG to regain any credibility imo. Pyro may be beautiful but every broken thing since the hangar module is still broken.
@@TheCoreGameplay Good to know. For sure, cargo has highest persistance-timeout. Much in contrast to water-bottle or ammo or so. Maybe ship-components have medium timeout. AFAIK, CIG changed their carbage-collector according their recent release notification. It's a good thing to reduce the entity-count, but maybe a bit to harsh :-)
Are you able to put them inside one of those StorAll containers if you have one like the 8SCU in your ship? Does it impact anything or just ship components like if you have some Iron in the back?
Try noting server shards, I noticed when I hope server shards that's when things get wonky, I have jumped back to the old shard and magically my things appear again sometimes, its a 20-80 shot they reappear.

@@TheCoreGameplay You're a community treasure. Thank you!
Agree, very frustrating.

Use a ship with a cargo grid. No problem when you do.
Server-Meshing problem? (Switching server boundries...)
Cargo boxes at least don't do that. I have hauled them with me for 6 hours and they stayed at least

I've had regularly randomly vanish on me on live also

I have tried putting them into a 8scu box but can't. I have tested regular cargo and they stay at least
They would never release it to live with game braking bugs and ignore them for months or years lol
Yes never 😂
Dam 😬

I'm going to try and jump back and see. Thank you for the tip. Tomorrow I'm going to try it out
Did you report this to the IC- issue council?
I did yes
@@TheCoreGameplay the "archived" issue council?
@@divinearcher32 it's confirmed now
I just cancelled my sub due to these and many more errors that have made the game unplayable for me. Even live is like living on klendathu
