    Things probably won't change much during our lifetimes but people like Mr. Perkins are desperately needed to initiate those changes, we need more like him.

      There are people whose deaths would make others prosper more. It is scienticifally based fact. Actually if the most macho alfa males died in monkey community and betas took over, whole groups was less stressed, therefore more effective and healthy. So either we understand and get rid of macho alfas, who slowing us down, with their stupid attitute or we will destroy ourselves.

      @@michalviktorin6758 The African Bonobos have found a solution for that, this is amazing.
      The females go around and get inseminated by all the males of the group, that way, the males have no idea whether the young are theirs or not so they won't kill them if another male becomes leader.That eliminates the privileges of the alphas and puts them all on the same level of uncertainty... and in the process, the females enjoy themselves, while protecting their young through the wise manipulation of the poor males, stuck with their constantly overflowing testosterone levels!
      Go Girls, Girl Power!!!! (maybe we could try that some day, he he)

    I really admired his books where he talks directly about how these issues stem more from the World Bank, IMF and central banks (especially the Fed). Here, he completely tows the line and distracts people from the real issue that no matter how they spend their money, it doesn't really matter unless the pull plug on these banks that pull the corporations strings. We can never get out of debt enslavement when the only way to create money is to borrow it at interest from private banks. Do the math.

      @Xproject187 10 років тому +5

      Well if what you say is true(& it might be), then the only reality left is that "us boneheads will never disconnect from their paradigm". At least not until, it's all taken from us, like so many civilizations/empires before ours(which has been documented, repeatedly throughout history).
      However, I think thee agenda being offered in this video, is to spark an elevated human interest so as to incite the creation of a rift, or an alternate outcome to the fall of yet another civilizations/empire. Because historically speaking, the outcome's always the same(doom from within, or a superior smite so advanced that we don't stand a chance).

    We see that large corporations and the banks have acquired a large percentage of the world's wealth and this percentage will continue to grow. If we aren't already there, we are certainly heading for a new Dark Ages. To quote Winston Churchill, "Those that fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it."

You are making a very superficial observation. It's good not to just believe what you see, but it's also good not to talk about something when you know nothing about it. I also know some of the indigenous tribes he works with, as well as some of his teachers in the Amazon.

    Putting pressure on corporations is important but insufficient.
    Way too much energy is lost in the process with way too little effect on the broad scale.
    WE NEED TO CHANGE THE ECONOMIC SYSTEM!
    So the competitive race to outprofit each other on the expense of everything else is not a target at all anymore.

    Noam Chomsy was asked exactly the same thing after one of his innumerable speeches in front of university audiences. He said he was too white, too rich and too successful to be simply squashed like a mosquito. After all, he said, the people who run the US are exactly that: very white, very rich and very successful, and they don't want something like that to happen to them. He also said that when someone is rich enough there is a lot of freedom that can be bought.

I was a very angry person at that time because I was young and full of piss and vinegar. I started seeing, time after time, evidence of government corruption, and it made me mad. I'm now 30, and I'm a lot more mellow about it all. I had a woman around my age that was my history professor. We had some heated arguments in class about history.

    I knew he was going to get around to explaining what reasonable and good people the CEOs who cause all this are. They don't want to see catastrophe and injustice, they just cannot help it, poor little super-rich people.
    I agree with the boycotts of bad corporations, but these days the money is spread so broadly that cannot tell.

      Because when a book is released, everyone buys it all at once.. So for the moment, at the time of launch, it becomes the number one selling book; until a few days later, then it falls back down into the list somewhere mediocre.

    If people studied Health, Psych and Abusive relationships,, they would recognize when they were being abused. People do not stay Fit, and know Fit /healthy relationships,, which is why they get scammed. And I don't mean the people inheriting the debt, I mean the "leaders" but, yes, even the people who don't Really Owe the debt. Recognizing unhealthy relationships is key

    Sure we have the 'control' of buying power but really do we have any choice in the matter? As soon as you move into a house/apartment you are bound to the bills of oil and electricity. We are reliant on the companies because we are forced to be reliant on them. The only solution is to evolve technologies and grow away from dependence on corporations. The only real practical solution is to start engineering new technologies which enable us to live freer lives!

    I do not think a central bank has enslaved you or I. It merely serves a purpose.A medium of current to facilitate commerce. The thing is, people can't get past what is right in front of them, to be able to see the 'big' picture.People have pledged their inherent rights to the State. And in return, receive benefits and priveledges. If one does not like this arrangement, then one must self determine, and create their own State, their own person,to do commerce for their own State,Laws of Nations

    ROMANS 3:
    “There is no one righteous, not even one;
    11 there is no one who understands;
    there is no one who seeks God.
    12 All have turned away,
    they have together become worthless;
    there is no one who does good,
    not even one.”[b]
    13 “Their throats are open graves;
    their tongues practice deceit.”[c]
    “The poison of vipers is on their lips.”[d]
    14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”[e]
    15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
    16 ruin and misery mark their ways,
    17 and the way of peace they do not know.”[f]
    18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”[g]
    19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
