Look up the word "sodomite" in the KJV. It is a reference to fornication between two men or two women. This sin is still condemned today in Romans 1:26-28.
I smoke because i cant change this world. All the little things that people do to mess it up every day. It upsets me thst i cant help. So i smoke herb and cigs to calm my wrath. Or maybe we all feel gods wrath on how the people of the earth destroy everything and it hurts us as well.. so i smoke to releave my upsetness.

Same with the alcohol business. They even sell to the worst of all drunken communities out there, period.
The synagogue of 'black jews' that say THEY are the seed of Abraham, Issac, & Jacob. They are all over America pushing their views as we speak. They are of Satan wither they realize it or not. I smoked for years, the Lord spoke to me when I ask about smoking he said there are far more important matters I have to attend to. for it is not what goes into the body that corrupts but what comes out. Compared to how I used to be, and what I have become I am complete 360 not perfect yet. I attended a fundamental church and what I heard was accurate, but how it was applied destroyed many marriages and led to the sin of Nicolaitans, legalism and doctrine was more important that devotion.

Jesus is coming back for a spotless bride (Rapture) I think that if you are still in sin then you will most likely head to the tribulation. This is just my opinion from all that I have learned over the past few months. I have been on my knees praying to the Lord asking him to let me know if there is anything that I am doing that is displeasing. I do not want to go into the tribulation. This is wonderful ministry and I am grateful that someone sent me a this site. God Bless!
I'm not a smoker nor do I support it. I've always been against it, but this video did not do your stance any justice. I'm not even a smoker and you couldn't even convince me that the Bible says you shouldn't smoke.
Smoking is a sin like anything else. Obesity. --. It's a sin. Christ died for all sins. People who say they don't sin are liars.

You are doing a ton of proof texting. You are using scripture out of context that doesn't even hint at what you are trying to make it mean. Granted smoking is not a good thing. Certainly smoking is bad for one's health, not to mention a bad witness. Is it a sin? I'm not sure but it will create a lot of problems. Seems to me like you're being very judgemental and legalistic. Referring to smoke and reading into scripture in the way you are doing, should we not use a charcoal grill, build a fire in the fireplace, etc? Very interesting is a phrase you use continually. Very interesting is biblical proof of anything. Use scripture rightly Brian.

No sir but I have had problems with smoking, drinking, drugging, and other junk before the Lord delivered me. My response is not about smoking or any addiction. It's building a case by misuse of scripture. How about you? Any sin issues in your life? I get what you are attempting to do here and it's a good thing but to look at a concordance and pick out a bunch of verses to make a case against smoking is iffy. By the way I loved Ruckman. I have a Bible he signed for me... God's junkyard dog! I think I'm wise to say what I have to say and not go into any further debate.

They put me on the patch but I have medicaid so it was free for me, I don't know what your insurance situation is but with a doctor's prescription and their help you can get on a road to quitting.
I smoked for 15 years or more(I'm 33) and then I stopped smoking and went to smokeless nicotine to get off cigarettes but it was just one vice for another.
Finally I said I'm done being a slave to these companies and I want to quit completely and I happened to have a few nicotine patches laying around so I used them.
But once they were gone I had to get more and the helpline put me on a 3 month program of patches( I think they also offer gum and lozenges) and I haven't gone back to my old habits since I put it down.
Great video, brother! Jesus is coming very soon! To anyone reading this: Accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior and understand what He did for you on that cross, and ask for forgiveness. He interceded on our behalf and paid a great price for mankind's sin, so that we might have eternal salvation with our Heavenly Father. After you receive the Holy Spirit, then repent (turn away from your sin). Then, continue in your relationship with Jesus. And...by the way...God allows u-turns. Repent!
Don't make it sound like only theJews from Israel are accepted by God. In the New Testament we are all going to heaven once we believe and receive our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and repent of our sins.

Gods people are all over this world not just in one part if you really did read the bible then you would already have known that. But you clearly have not. Sorry saints ROMANS 11.13-22 quit smoking saints through the Spirit then pick up your cross daily and follow Christ. Anyone sinning cannot be serving God and if you are and no conviction means no Holy ghost EITHER WAY IT MEANS YOUR NOT SAVED repent and believe the good news . Peace
I don't smoke, I have some friends that do and I often criticise it, but it is NOT a sin because the mosaic law does not condemn it. 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: *for sin is the transgression of the law.*

The chemicals ADDED to cigaretts and tobacco are what causes cancer (carcinogens)...not the act of smoking. That actually expands your lungs. Long distance Bicycle racers in the onld days (early 1900's)used to smoke as they rode to increase lung capacity. Please, look it up. I am not saying it worked or was scientific, but it had some validity, to be allowed into Olympic bike racing.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Abraham's bosom was where Old Testament saints went because their sins weren't paid for until Jesus died on the cross. Our sins are forgiven and paid for today, so we go straight to heaven at death. The bodies stay in the ground awaiting the rapture, but the soul and spirit go up.
I don't advocate smoking and have never been a smoker, and there's no question it's a big potential stumbling block to the Christian witness. That said, the "prince of preachers" Charles Spurgeon evidently smoked cigars from time to time. Would anyone be so bold to suggest he wasn't really saved on account of his smoking (as some here have suggested of smokers)?
Well, you go to hell or to Abraham´s bosom (paradise) when you die. Those who are now in hell are awaiting their second death in the lake of fire. Those in Abraham´s bosom wait for the rapture. The lake of fire is not hell.

I used to smoke but god set me free from it and I could not have stopped without Jesus. I also had a dream where Jesus came to me and showed me that smoking would keep me out of heaven.
Even though I understand this verse diffently, I believe you are right after a little bit of study. thank you for clarifiying that. Luke 23:43 proves what you just said:

What I find very interesting is 2 Cor 12:2:
"I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven."

All all people of color are not of the same lineage just like white people are not all of the same lineage. So don't lump them all into the category of Africans. If you don't know who they are you should just keep silent. If the Jews are already in their land then that makes the Bible a lie because the Bible states that the Israelites the Jews are spread across the four corners of the Earth in a land that their forefathers knew not. If the true Jews are in their land what is the big hoopla they need to just fight their battles like any other Nation with opposing Neighbors. it's just the case of two people who don't belong fighting over land that's not theirs.

Thank you for committing your life to God, brother in Christ. If you are not called to smoke, then DON'T. In the book of Revelation, smoke is a way for Saints to get their prayers to Heaven. Natives of America have a history of our Great and Holy Spirit, respectfully, produced and packed the first peace pipe to our ancestors. It doesn't seem like you have to inhale or even take it into your mouth though. Jesus Christ defeated hell and death. God appeared to Moses in a burning bush. HIS majesty's GLORY having smoke, wouldn't seem wrathful, seeing how the 'going up to Our Father in Heaven to be GLORIFIED' is something Jesus said He would and did do after HIS resurrection respectfully. I understand if you don't like smoking, and your argument is against, you would leave out these critical details, but to be fair, they are there too. Your sis in Christ bless you.
The bible says nothing about smoking directly. It does not affect your mind (if you manage to find non-nicotine cigarettes... they DO exist), so it is not wrong in controlled doses. It is the addiction that is wrong. Anything applied to alcohol in the bible could easily apply to other vices. Drunkeness (when it affects your mind) is the sin. Therefore drinking and smoking, without addiction, are not sinful. Marijuana and drugs are. Realize that some of the greatest leaders in the church smoked.
Celeste Robbins Marijuana is good. Gen. 1:29. It was also an ingredient in the anointing oil of the Levites. It is not addictive.
Literally nothing wrong with Marijuana, God made that plant for us to medicate and heal ourselves with, educate yourself on it instead of listening to what others are saying
