I agree that the semi cold season is the best time to venture out anywhere. Sunshine energises oneself while the tolerable cold is also a perfect companion to the agreeable heat... yes, the best shot warrants a lot of efforts and can be seen in the way u folks volunteered for it!!.. all 4 are indeed “spunky”, and ur enthusiasm can be seen in the efforts and the video... the info provided is great, appreciate it!!.. 5:49 that plant is actually quite holy for us and this grows in front of a lot of residences, and even in temples. It’s associated with worship of lord shiva. Just a word of caution, don’t let the liquid of this plant fall into the eyes. How old is the banyan tree?. At least a few decades old?. Say 50 years old?. Great intro to the fauna present there!!.. laal badam!!.. nice!!.. nice berry tree, and the berries are edible, super!!.. hope the station master takes good care of the banana, lime and the mango trees. Extremely useful to maintain greenery these days!!.. 8:04, the “sadabahar” flower is called “kanigale” in Kannada. Had seen this many times here too, but didn’t know it belonged to this family called periwinkle/sadabahar/kanigale. Thanks for this. I don’t know how PR runs it’s freight trains but in the IR network, the passenger trains get highly prioritised when it comes to a crossing between the two. Daytime, passenger trains are prioritised while freight trains get priority in the nighttime, though it always doesn’t happen like that. great to see the coal hopper wagons again, class BOBYN... the freight train was given a higher priority here, nice.. the second freight rake was mixed BOBYN and BOST-HS M2!!... that’s nice, because in what I have seen, it’s mostly only the BOST-HS that I had seen, not the M2 version. That’s a long wheelbase version of the HS.. that’s great, nice capture!!!.. For people interested in knowing about the BOST-HS M2 attaching a link for the same: www.braithwaiteindia.com/freight_wagons/bosthsm2 The knuckle coupling is also clearly visible... seriously long rake!!.. a WAG-5 would be enough for the empty rake and a WAG-9 or two WAG-5’s would haul a fully loaded rake. 40 wagons, eh?. Thank You Ranga for your detailed comment as always and information about the holy plant. Not sure how much old the banyan tree is but by the looks of it, it seems several decades old. Here passenger/express trains also get more priority. There was no UP train for the next 2 hours at least thats why 2 UP trains were given chance to leave for their long journeys. Similarly on DN track, 6DN Greenline is the last train of the day until next one arrives 4-5 hours later. Thats why back to back DN freight trains came which were probably waiting at Dhabeji and other stations loop lines.

Next time when u encounter goods trains, try to actually address them by their class names like BOBYN, BRNA, etc as they’ll lend a touch of class to ur videos, and it’ll perhaps get more people to be more inquisitive about them and they may actually search for more info. And also that’s the lingo what railfans adopt, so just wanted to let u know. Hope u will find it useful.
Why the maximum length of the freight is 40-43 wagons , geu40 can pull upto 50 wagons at max ?? All the frieght train between Karachi , lahore and Faisalabad are seen to maximum length 40 wagons , freight train length should be increased to atleast 50 ,does the loop lines maximum support length of 40 wagons?? anyways great capture as usual , keep it up...
