Jordan learned from Bird & Magic that it takes more than points to win a game! Jordan didn't know what to do without the ball for the 1st few years of his career! He didn't get it till a bit later on... that you needed to do more than just stand... there if you didn't have the ball in your hands! Because before that... he didn't seem to know what to do with himself if he didn't have the ball in his hands

Kent Benson was someone Bird met when he was at Indiana State for 24 days. Practices hadn't started yet when Bird left. But Benson was someone who was on the team there.
    Quote from Bird's book _Drive_
"Kent Benson can be a nice guy, but, point-blank, he treated me terribly."
5 paragraphs worth of mention that included Bird getting "a big kick in 1985 when Kevin McHale set the Celtics' scoring record of fifty-six points where Kent Benson was guarding him." 🙂

Also in '95 he pulled a Ron Artest and went into the stands after a heckler and was suspended by the NBA. He was never the same guy after that.

Did anyone ever explain to you the Jordan and Barkley deal? They were really good friends for a long time but when Barkley started to work as an analyst he gave his opinion on Charlottes team. Said something like Jordan should sell his shares in the team because they will never be any good. As you said early on in this video MJ takes things personally and thats what happened here. Jordan stated their friendship was over at that point.

Kent Benson is the guy that Larry used to always take it to the blonde haired guy on the Pistons because Kent Benson is the guy that kind of bullied him when Larry went to Indiana for that short period. You know Kent Benson was all American snotty nosed preppy boy but when Larry got to the NBA he was the s*** and he never forgot. That's why if you watch when Mikhail was scoring all those points, Larry was feeding Miguel the ball as if to punish Kent Benson. If you watch any of Michael's big games against the Pistons, you'll see what I'm talking about

Isiah and pistons beat the crap out of Jordan. Mj did'nt like him because the fouls went beyond what basketball should be. Just dirty ball, trying to hurt type you type of fouls over and over. He still claims he's the best point guard behind magic. As for Barkley, he said some stuff about mj on tv he didn't like. Said he was surrounded by a bunch of yes men.

  • @vincentallen1318

Mike is petty & the G.O.A.T. Chuck hurt Mike when he said MJ was a bad GM. Chuck was telling the truth. Also, Chuck seems to be the only one that gives MJ his props & criticize him in the same statement. Something tells me that MJ doesn’t feel Chuck is in a position to talk about him publicly in that way since Charles doesn’t have any rings. All the clips of MJ roasting Chuck is about how he isn’t a winner. Also Dominque was similar to Chuck in that he didn’t have a decent supporting cast; & had to compete in the same division as the Bird Celtics, Bad Boys, Chuck/Dr.J/ Malone 76ers/ Ewing Knicks & Jordan. I’m biased because I’m ATL born & raised. He was more than dunks. A lot of those dunks were put backs from teammate missed shots. Jordan beat us in the 1st round numerous times in the 80’s & 90’s.

Jordan like to critique others publicly but if you critique him he will see it as a betrayal. He is a thin skinned jerk who pretended to be Charles’s friend because he took the heat off MJ but when he said MJ has too many yes men around him in Charleston he couldn’t handle the truth.
