I prefer the longer videos!!!! Great reaction!! I recommend "Larry Bird Post moves" and have you seen "Larry Bird's perfect game, I should have quit right there"? Both are 👏
Jordan learned from Bird & Magic that it takes more than points to win a game! Jordan didn't know what to do without the ball for the 1st few years of his career! He didn't get it till a bit later on... that you needed to do more than just stand... there if you didn't have the ball in your hands! Because before that... he didn't seem to know what to do with himself if he didn't have the ball in his hands
Kent Benson was someone Bird met when he was at Indiana State for 24 days. Practices hadn't started yet when Bird left. But Benson was someone who was on the team there. Quote from Bird's book _Drive_ "Kent Benson can be a nice guy, but, point-blank, he treated me terribly." 5 paragraphs worth of mention that included Bird getting "a big kick in 1985 when Kevin McHale set the Celtics' scoring record of fifty-six points where Kent Benson was guarding him." 🙂
Great video bro. If you want to know if Dominique wasn't just a dunker, check out his famous 4th quarter duel against Larry Bird in Game 7 of the 1988 ECSF. Possibly the greatest 4th quarter in playoff basketball history. Looking forward to your next reaction! 💯💯
@@HenDawgTV He was a pretty good scorer on the '94 Rockets team that won the title, but in '95 he lost his starting minutes to Clyde Drexler who came over from Portland that year. Also in '95 he pulled a Ron Artest and went into the stands after a heckler and was suspended by the NBA. He was never the same guy after that.
You have to remember before you started watching Larry Bird, what did you think he was? A 3 point shooter, right? But you found out he was way more than that, as most players were at that time.
I still believe the NBA logo should be the dream team photo of the three of them in the dream team uniform It could even be in silhouette, like the present one.
Absolutely not. The logo is Jerry West who gave the league his life and who put together the combo of Shaq and Kobe. When Kobe was on trial it was West who help supported him and why the media didn’t turn on him. West is a legend
Barkley criticized Jordan in how he was letting his friends giving them jobs with the Carolina team + Barkley criticized him on the NBA tonight or something like that and Jordan ended up calling him saying man I thought you were my friend and Barkley said man we're friends but I got to do my job. You know
I was 15 when I smoked my first cigar. And ended up smoking 🚬 3 packs of cigarettes and a pack of cigars in a day. For over 25 years and when I quit I went Cold Turkey.
MJ was super fundamentally sound - driven to be excellent. In my personal perception, I think that Tim Duncan and Larry Bird were a bit more fundamentally sound. In the modern game Joel Embiid might be the most well fundamentally sound.
Not for nothing sir, but did you have a green or white hat on? Don't know if yo noticed when you were editing the video the top of your head was missing.
dominiqe scored 27000 points.....you can do that just dunking......great in the post.....mid range.....shoot the 3.....i watched mike and niqe go at it for a decade.....and dominiqe won alot of those matchups....
Did anyone ever explain to you the Jordan and Barkley deal? They were really good friends for a long time but when Barkley started to work as an analyst he gave his opinion on Charlottes team. Said something like Jordan should sell his shares in the team because they will never be any good. As you said early on in this video MJ takes things personally and thats what happened here. Jordan stated their friendship was over at that point.
Kent Benson is the guy that Larry used to always take it to the blonde haired guy on the Pistons because Kent Benson is the guy that kind of bullied him when Larry went to Indiana for that short period. You know Kent Benson was all American snotty nosed preppy boy but when Larry got to the NBA he was the s*** and he never forgot. That's why if you watch when Mikhail was scoring all those points, Larry was feeding Miguel the ball as if to punish Kent Benson. If you watch any of Michael's big games against the Pistons, you'll see what I'm talking about
FYI bruh just so you know.........Elgin Baylor was the 1st Dr. J - Mike Jordan-DOminque WIlkns etc............60'2-70's with the Lakers.chicttity chek it........played with Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlin

Back in the day -- even as a Celtic fan, I always considered Magic was the GOAT. Even after MJ ascended - I preferred Magic, because he could play any style. He could play big or he could play finesse.
Isiah and pistons beat the crap out of Jordan. Mj did'nt like him because the fouls went beyond what basketball should be. Just dirty ball, trying to hurt type you type of fouls over and over. He still claims he's the best point guard behind magic. As for Barkley, he said some stuff about mj on tv he didn't like. Said he was surrounded by a bunch of yes men.
Mike is petty & the G.O.A.T. Chuck hurt Mike when he said MJ was a bad GM. Chuck was telling the truth. Also, Chuck seems to be the only one that gives MJ his props & criticize him in the same statement. Something tells me that MJ doesn’t feel Chuck is in a position to talk about him publicly in that way since Charles doesn’t have any rings. All the clips of MJ roasting Chuck is about how he isn’t a winner. Also Dominque was similar to Chuck in that he didn’t have a decent supporting cast; & had to compete in the same division as the Bird Celtics, Bad Boys, Chuck/Dr.J/ Malone 76ers/ Ewing Knicks & Jordan. I’m biased because I’m ATL born & raised. He was more than dunks. A lot of those dunks were put backs from teammate missed shots. Jordan beat us in the 1st round numerous times in the 80’s & 90’s.
Jordan like to critique others publicly but if you critique him he will see it as a betrayal. He is a thin skinned jerk who pretended to be Charles’s friend because he took the heat off MJ but when he said MJ has too many yes men around him in Charleston he couldn’t handle the truth.
Yes it was a long video, but those 43:23 fly right by. Well done, Sir, well done.
Glad you enjoyed it
Bird smoked cigars too after a win! Lol. Sometimes hanging out with the guys ... having a few beers.
Dominique was a hell of a shooter! He is underrated in my opinion!
Bird,Magic,Michael the holy trinity!!!

As soon as Bird realized Kevin had the hot hand on Kurt, Larry just tried to keep getting Kevin the ball

Thanks for the posture check. I was getting ready to post this right after you said posture check and then you said, "you'll thank me later."

Dr. J should get some credit as well. He was the influence for Jordan.... and Magic for that matter.

Yes Dominique is definitely more than just a master at Dunking.

DOMINIQUE, THE HUMAN HIGH-LITE REAL WAS AN ALL ROUND SCORER, BUT HIS STRENGTH WAS HIS VERTICAL DOMINANCE!

Jordan was textbook correct?
That's because Larry Bird saved the NBA! If not for him there wouldn't be a NBA players making millions anymore 😂.
You should watch that dunk competition and you'll walk away with the same opinion

And he won the slam dunk contest against Jordan when Jordan took off from the foul line. Copying Dr. J's famous dunk
