Yes living the dream, beautiful country, would so love to live that life.

The next app is called, harvest host, for $79 a year you can pick any farm that’s listed to go camp out on. Could be a great experience. And if shit hits the fan, you got multiple places to run to.
Beautiful location
I figure that highway must be made of grapes to make the tire whine. Tire Whine: "Jeez, Why can't I be a Bridgestone?"
If you find the engine running a bit on the hot side, don't be afraid to crank the heat in the cab -- sure, it will be unbearable, but if you want to shed a bunch of heat off the engine and lower the coolant temp running the cab heater is a surefire way to accomplish that. I would trade my discomfort for a while for a big repair bill, any day. Also, drive at night, or in the winter, Excellent video, thank you for sharing.
I never notice the noise. I guess after 33 years I'm used to it.
We lost Pip tonight lighting hit so close to house, got solar and Pip We did cpr for 20 mints in lighting all all around. Solar can be replaced Pip not, he was like Lucky, hared headed but such a good dog,
@@TheCampulanceMan Thank you David We thought lighting got him, but it hit the tree 12 feet from his house, it was soooo loud and bright in the house that it really scared him to death with a massive heart attack, he was only 2 1/2.

I like to make a suggestion, I own a tractor trailer I’m up here in Colorado right now pick up a load tomorrow and head to Arizona. When I do a lot of times if I can I go around the cities on the back roads might be a few miles longer but it’s well worth it then getting in all that hassle. And much more pleasurable ride
Agreed and ive done that at times. In this trip I was aiming to stay on interstates and knew that I would hit cities... I'm sometimes surprised at the congestion!
The more u r on the road the more soothing the sounds will become to you.
👍👍👍
Well I'm glad you made it safe that campsite was beautiful made all the headache I'm worth it
Y'all take care and be safe and we'll see you soon
The destination was worth the trip! Wait till you see where we are now!!
Nice video, I was wondering where do you store your spare tire...? Mine is in the first compartment back on the passenger side and I'm not sure that's where it should be...
Hi Fred. My spare is in the rear most cabinet on the passenger side. There is a mount plate welded in that holds the tire in a standing up position. Thanks for watching!
This is so crazy, going through all of your old videos. You're literally living my dream. I just want to live in a converted ambulance with a cool pet too. Someday...
I think Lefty likes Rest stops better than driving, silly dog!! Nice campsite in Colorado David!
Thank you Mark! We stopped at some really nice rest stops and man did he love the lush grass some of them had. He loves grass and was raised walking on little league fields every day!!
Is the town Leadville?
Hi David, I live in Staffordshire England so Lefty must have a few cousins around here... 🐶🐶🐶 Ive spent all day wire brushing the chassis down on my Ambo and i think ive got a large job on my hands, The Campulance is in great condition !! All your heavy goods are diesels so look after that engine and it will go on for years through extreme heat or cold... Now for a bike ride!!😎
I do believe he is a Staffordshire and from your neck of the woods!
Have a ball working on your rig! I know I always do... and I do hope my 7.3 stays strong for years :)
Everybody freaking out here in Cali, Masks are mandatory inside public buildings. Glad your trip wasn't to bad, that heat is something, unbearable, That AC you put in is a life saver, makes sleeping so much easier. I do the same thing when I stop at a rest area, flip the hood up to get rid of some of that heat.
Signed with a Realtor today, House going on the market on the 3rd, Will be staying in my camper van for a while. Cant wait to get it over with, the stress is getting old.
You're doing it!! I remember the call I made to my realtor - it went really fast after that. Good for you Pat!!
Any idea what your average mpg was? And do you have a toilet in there?
I wasn't tracking my mpg on that trip but the last time I tracked several days of traveling I averaged 13.5mpg. I do not have a toilet, no. I use the outdoor tent for that :)
Also tell me how your AC is hooked up in the back. My plan for the back area I’m gonna have a AC man disconnect the back from the front. The back area I’m going to buy a highbred AC 12 V pump, this way the back area will runoff of 12 V keeping it cool back there right off the solar panels. There’s an idea later if you’re interested I will get the proper name of what car that 12 V hybrid AC pump would come off of.
My ac is simply AC 120v powered running off of my inverter. I've also run it off of my generator late into the night once the sun has dropped.
How is it you can camp at a rest stop? I can't count the number of times I and friends had issue with CHP at rest stops.
We've never had a problem - a lot of people park and sleep at them on the interstates.
its like that hear
in Seattle to you cant go in the store without a mask they wont let you in at most places
Here in Colorado its mandatory to wear a mask in public. I received an alert on my phone when I crossed the CO state line!
Cracking insight into your travelling days 😊. That campsite looks really good. The masks are becoming mandatory in shops here in the uk on Friday 🤷♂️😂. Lefty looked at you as if to say “heck no.... I’m not getting in that truck if you’re putting the hammer down”😂😂. You gotta love ghat dog, he seems part human 🤣
Thanks Tim!! You're right, he sure can express himself in a way I understand!
Any advice on keeping the motorcycle from getting stolen?
When its mounted, I keep locks on it if I'm heading into a store. When its parked, I keep locks on it to slow a thief down and also chain it to the truck bumper.
@@TheCampulanceMan I have an old scooter chain with an impenetrable lock for a sold Honda scooter. I better locate it and find the key) I'm planning to mount a Honda PVX (or something)150cc to shop with. I hate paying for fuel. You can't teach an ambulance 110 MPG.
@@laurencegoldman4639 That's a great idea - trips to town on the bike are a simple way to restock (or buy ice cream treats!).
Hello have you made a video on how you made your bed out of? Is it a cot or a platform bed from Walmart??
Hi Toochie. I dont believe I covered it in detail, no. Its built off of the existing bench with a piece of 1/4" plywood hinged to it that folds out. Then a hinged mattress that i had made.
@@TheCampulanceMan Thank u, I haven't built my bed yet in my Ambulance yet. I was thinking a tall air mattress that's stands maybe 2 feet high off the floor before I put nails in the walls..lol
Can you tell me what engine you’re campulance has in it and what do you think about the reliability of that injury. And what troubles have you had with it if any. I’m getting ready to buy an ambulance with 7.3 diesel
I have the 7.3l powerstroke diesel. It has been solid for me and I've had no engine problems in 14k miles.
Put ur dam mask on! It's how we will get rid of this thing and it's how we show respect for one another.
Finally back to God's beautiful country w/mountains, trees and water! Happy camping to you and your friend and Lefty!
