The best tango routine I have ever watched
I think what people are missing is the story behind this. They didn't talk for 4 years, then they're on Forever Tango doing and Argentine tango. I think they had passion. It wasn't as good as actually seeing it live in Forever Tango, but the hosts kinda made it awkward. I think they were fabulous.
Maks is 'heavenly gorgeous' dressed up.

More power to them for being able to keep it professional after being in a longtime committed relationship and then breaking up. Of course it's played up in the press to make it more interesting...only Maks and Karina know what happened between the two of them and that's the way it should remain. But it has to be difficult on some degree to work with someone so closely and in such an intimate manner after such a serious relationship has ended.

Wow....just wow. I miss Max and Karina together. Eastern Europeans have that special flare in their dancing that you don't see in the pros from other countries.
Thing you gotta remember is that this is the Argentine Tango, the real thing. They were trained for the show by A.Tango pros. In interviews they've said that what they do on DWTS is not the real thing. A.Tango is emotional (all types of emotion), not just sexual.

Honestly, I think the chemistry HAS changed.But change isn`t necessarily a bad thing. Their other dances were all about sex,but tango is also extreme emotion, NOT always sexual. I think at this point their renewed friendship was shaky at best. Then the ladies from the view were commenting on their 'flirting' and may have made it a bit awkward. But, their connection has slowly improved since this interview...you can see it on their good day NY int. , simply by the way they interact. I love it!
So, am I the only one who notices how he grabs her hand and holds on to it at 3:10 ish .
okkk so here's the thing the passion is back now I just saw the show. Trust me haha
you are right there is no passion in this dance routine, it was just business. i feel like they consciously dance like that for maybe their personal reasons. because you don't have to be in love with somebody to dance with passion with them. i think they were trying to guard themselves. since they were lovers as they get more comfortable with being friends, i feel they will feel more better to have their guard down
