+SeattleSundown I was just on a field exercise. Endex was called and we were simply getting ready to head back to base. The Lav captain looked back from the turret to see me standing there with my crew headset off and a pair of earbuds just rocking out to this shit.
driverv86 Lol That's awesome! Provision may be my favorite, but been blasting them all through 3 states on weekends going home from contract job all the same. At 90 mph.
Just bought a vinyl ... it seemed to be the last one worldwide... 120 Euros including customs tax and shipping. It was definitely worth the money as I adore this band over anything else ... Duett ... you make my day complete ... listening to this is like feeling newborn. Thanks. I know 120 Euros is far off the prices one would pay. But I just did. This is appreciation...
March 2016, deep future. My brand new electric pink Duett Borderline cassette has just arrived in the mail. I am opening the cassette door of my Sanyo Sportster, inserting the object that was concieved in the 60s but somehow symbolizes the 80s and 90s and I am pressing play. In a few seconds I will become the happiest man on Earth.
It is always better it is not on billboard. Music like these are meant only for a few. If everybody starts listening to it, the magic and essence will be lost.
I've listened to their later albums and just came across this one done 7 years ago. Exactly the same brilliant vibes! Kudos for maintaining the musical theme that make you so unique and inspiring!
I have been listening to synthwave for a few years now, but this album is yet another that has been out for almost a decade and I've missed until now! This is a great body of work.
One of if not my favourite synth wave artist, I love outlines just just the tracks were longer, feel and closing scene particularly move me on that albums
This is in my top 10 retro/synthwave albums :) Putting together a list (of about top 100), the top 10 (so far) is this; 1. Perturbator - Dangerous Days 2. Dance with the Dead - Out of Body 3. Mitch Murder - Kung Fury soundtrack 4. Carpenter Brut - EP2 5. Le Matos - Chronicles of the Wasteland (Turbokid soundtrack) 6. Robert Parker - Money Talks 7. Duett - Borderline 8. Dubmood - Force De Frappe 9. Night Runner - Starfighter 10. Kavinsky - Outrun If anyone has better suggestions, please, I am all ears, I want to hear as much of this genre of music as possible :)
Ben Quinn Anyone of his previous works is better than the Kung Fury OST. I would say mainly Cuyrrent Events and Interceptor. Those are masterpieces. Plus, having a Top 10 synthwave, without any MN84 album in there, is a pure blasphemy.
Borderline has a strangely catchy quality. The over-all construction and tone is thin in the Mitch Murder style. Which would normally make it uninteresting. But something about it is just so pleasant you can't help but listen one more time. I also really like "Touch."
I don't mind if more synths follow his kind of style. It's my flavour of background music that gives the atmosphere in my home right now and I don't want to use the same CD over and over. Me for that makes it interesting: It's perfectly ideal when coming home from work, shower, refresh the clothing and duties like cooking, doing the dishes, cleaning and just reading the paper or just sit and listen. (Un)aware reimaging the 80's.
So I was very excited to see this actually is available on CD, cassette, LP... eehhhh... WAS availale on those media. All sold out! I seriously hope they will do a new batch, I'll buy the CD or LP instantly!!
Just bought the album even though it was name your price it was the right thing to do with so many great tunes ps anyone have a link to any other tunes with Stewart Lockwood

Hi, I have a question as I don’t know who could answer this, is it possible to make posters or wall art of the borderlines album cover as I think it would look great framed
I feel like L'Avenue have stolen Duett's thunder and that is sad. Duett is a triumph of song writing and melody, L'Avenue of production and technical synth
A gem of an album. Sit back and enjoy!

Excelente trabajo
Anyone here just find Retro 80s type music so... So fucking cool?
Yes! 😁 Get in your corvette, pop this in the cassette player (Dolby surround) and enjoy the ride...
I can't effing stop. Travel or in the office, it's taken over my life. Help.

SeattleSundown I like 'Running Scared' a lot. I also listen to a lot of LGHTNG, Power Glove, and Time Cop.

I cannot understand why this masterpiece has so little views...
Running Scared (Feat. Stewart Lockwood) 06:58
I have no idea why such amazing songs aren't in Billboard 100 Top
It is always better it is not on billboard. Music like these are meant only for a few.
If everybody starts listening to it, the magic and essence will be lost.
Lol, what are you talking about.
@@andy80sdrums i was trying to say that billboard is for clowns.
@@maxia1066 i understand :)
This might be one of the most perfect albums I've ever heard. What a masterpiece.
Still listening to it at the end of 2021 - Hope this wonderfull music can keep distracting me from the bad times
I've listened to their later albums and just came across this one done 7 years ago. Exactly the same brilliant vibes! Kudos for maintaining the musical theme that make you so unique and inspiring!
"Borderline" reminds me of "Don't Disturb This Groove" by an 80's electro group called "The System". Anyone else hear it?
I have been listening to synthwave for a few years now, but this album is yet another that has been out for almost a decade and I've missed until now! This is a great body of work.
The first track makes me think of a winner of a grand prix standing on top of a car celebrating.
+Robz Workz
Now you're thinking like a video game music composer :).
yeah, while the Credits roll
Thats why i Love the instrumental Songs on These Albums the Most. They let you think about many cool things and let you room for imagination
+Kanbei85
Yeah lol, like after finishing a Mario Cart race.
second song sounds like donkey kong country music - end of jungle theme or water theme
16:47 I will literally never get tired of hearing Borderline
What an album
OMG this a rare one. Every track has thay "touch" of a great musician. 10/10.
06:58 Beautiful song. Makes me feel relax and happy!
Literally everything in the "suggested" sidebar has been so good, I can't stop favoriting... I can't stop liking... i'm outta control! D:

Just did a 5 hour road trip and never took the album out. Awesome!
Magnificent throwback to the 1980s when Trump was Reagan and Brigitte Nielsen was hot.
I love the 80's 🎉
I'm very much in love with this album.
Such 80's laid back/motivational nostalgia mode tracks!!!! Bout to pump this S' at work tomorrow

+Ben Quinn Mitch Murder has way better albums.
+Tony, The Stark what albums?
+Ben Quinn FM-84 - Atlas is another gem
+Toma Cristian you know what I literally discovered FM-84 so Atlas might get on this list
Ben Quinn Anyone of his previous works is better than the Kung Fury OST. I would say mainly Cuyrrent Events and Interceptor. Those are masterpieces.

Gotta play some GTA Vice City while listening to this!!
"Julie~t", thanks for uploading these great songs.
Borderline is quite pleasant to my earholes.
Ooh so is Julienne
