Always great, in depth and best instructional videos, especially when it comes to tunning or modifying. Love the work you do on FX guns and of course the Edgun L2. Hope you had a great Christmas with your Family and Loved ones, and wishing you a Happy New Year, and looking forward to more videos coming from you in 2023. 💪🏻👌🏻🙏🏻 PS! See you put the Vector optics Maverick on the L2. Looks awesome.
It can only benefit his product in my opinion 🤷♂️ there are so many aftermarket parts made for so many different airguns on the market . Huma is specialized in regulators so why shouldn’t they use there experience to bring there version of it 😉👍
Happy holidays bud! Thanks as always for the instructions. I'm gonna stick with the REPR for the time being, since I just invested a lot into the behemoth and a 450 barrel. But I might make the switch in the future. We should try to convince EdGun to produce a metal-based trigger group. It's the only part of the Leshiy 2 I have gripes with really. The polymer trigger makes it feel a bit like a toy. Which is a shame since the rifle itself is anything but that! Anyway, happy shooting ^^ I'd love to do some shooting in Belgium some day. The new range looks great!
Hi 👋, happy holidays for you aswel !! For sure you can keep the original regulator, as I explained in the video the original one is a great regulator but some people including me have had some frequent failures due to a oring inside . To fix this Huma made there version 😉 if you original one works good keep it for sure 👍 Regarding the trigger , yes they should adres this and change it . Like you said it’s not on par with the rest of the Leshiy
@@Airbuks I just found out that Huma air actually made steel a trigger for the Leshiy 2. Not just the trigger in fact,, but the entire lower part of the gun will be metal instead of polymer. It looks pretty good! It does cost a pretty penny 😅
@@Airbuks If you happen to pick it up, let me know how it fairs! I'm thinking about getting it in the near future as well. It would really finish the rifle off pefectly. No doubt it'll add some extra weight but it's a trade off I'm willing to make ^^
@@Airbuks Oh btw, since you don't have open DMs on twitter, I found a little trick for the L2's folding mechanism. It is relevant for people who want to have a foregrip or bipod permanently installed right in front of the trigger guard (on that little bit of rail there). Even with the longest pin lock installed, you won't be able to lock it properly after folding the stock, if you have the bottle installed. The bottle will still bump into it. So you'll have to take the grip (or whatever else you have installed there) off everytime you want to fold the gun up and store it away. But there's an easy way around it. Let me know if you want to hear the details. Im available on Twitter or Discord
Just got this for my Epic Two, CUZ the original regulator seemingly do not like adjustment, CUZ i have not done that a whole lot in the 3 outings with the rifle. And for my last outing the regulated pressure was 200 BAR and not the 90 the rifle was set to.

Thanks, your videos are great!!! I guess this raptor is only valid if you have the REPR, right? Or does it also substitute the original non EAR regulator?
Always good quality video's, thanks for sharing this. Can you do a review on the slug magazines? I contacted Francesco because my ZAN slugs and Javelyn Gen2 slugs just fell through the standard magazine and jam the cycling. Did you know there is a 470cc bottle now? You can combine this bottle with a slightly longer tube.
Hi mate , thx for the support and detailed comments 👊 I have asked Fransico already about them a few weeks ago but they haven’t been available then , I will contact him after the holidays the get a update on that . About the bottle sizes I have seen it when I was on the website looking for the slug magazines 🤣👌 but in a compact configuration I don’t think I want to go bigger the 350cc
@@Airbuks I see what you mean . . . next week I will make some pics of my standard size buttstock with the 470cc bottle and send it to your email. I think I will need an extended tube to utilize a better grip. Maybe we live close by and I can show you in person 😉
Thanks for the great video! I am new to the Leshiy topic. I have installed a digital pressure gauge from Huma, after a shot I can see how the plenum fills again relatively quickly, but the last 10 bars or so very slowly. Any experience with this? is it normal or maybe it can be improved? I have already installed the Raptor Regulator, but it is still the same behavior.
Thx for the support 👊 at what pressure is your regulator? If you have a slow refill with the Huma Raptor you might want to try and replace the white disc in the raptor
@@Airbuks I found the problem. In the new carbon bottle that I installed, there were apparently a few small styrofoam particles. These then partially blocked the system. Nevertheless thanks for your effort. Lars
do you have any advice on how to fix leaking regulator seal? I've tried two different Raptor regulators in my Leshiy, but the plenum pressure increases by 1 bar every few minutes, no matter what the setpoint is. I tried changing out the discs as well.
Thanks for the instructions, followed it step by step thank you. Now that this new Huma reg is on my Leshiy 2, as far as I can tell so far the REPR reg that I had fitted previously seemed to recover faster when fired rapidly. This one takes around 3 seconds to get back to reg pressure which is currently set to 80bar. The REPR reg recovered fully in under a second though? Is this normal?
🤔 I haven’t had this problem as I set mine to 135-150 bar for the 30cal . Maybe at low regulator pressures it recovers differently. You might wanna contact Huma and ask them the question
@@larsthelen3409 Huma are sending me another one to compare it against. They did say that they did have one that was sent out where the belville springs were the wrong way round so maybe that could be it but not sure. They did ask me to take it apart but I honestly couldn’t shift it to get it apart. Have you had any problems with yours?
@@OCDfish thx for your quick reply, mine is still on the way. I just started to worry when I read your comment cuz I will be using low pressure settings exclusively due to local laws (7.5 joules max)
Exemplary video. I have a question since I recieved an insert that isnt present on this video. I purchased from EdgunWest. I an curious what this "extra part" is exactly.
It also depends on the gauge. My sekhmet starts registrating around 42 bar but that doesn't automatically mean that he regulator cannot go lower. I have raptors in both my Leshiy 2's and they work awesome however, I miss a more user friendly tool to turn the reg up and down, a spanner or adjustble wrench will easily scratch and damage the area around the reg. I shot my L2. 30 REAPER reg at 210 bar for a while just to stretch things and I already had the Raptor regs laying around. The L2 really hit like brick at that high pressure, just awesome but I turned them down and kept them at 155 bar. Both my reapers never had any issues. I recently changed them out for the Huma Raptors. The Huma Raptor is limited to 175 Bar according the website, so I called Huma to verify this, and they confirmed. What regulator is better? I think the Huma because it simply has less parts that can fail, but in the end . . . time will tell. My latest updat is adding one 350cc bottle to the L2 .30 with the regulator set at 135 bar and a 470cc bottle to the L2 in .30 with the reg set to 165 bar.
Don't buy the Huma Air Raptor Regulator, if you don't use the gun for a month or so it just blocks the air from passing through to the regulator. And I'm not the only one who is having such a problem.
Hi , can you explain what the problem is exactly as I didn’t encounter it myself . But I can pass it on to Huma , I am sure they would like to know about it and fix it
Not possible anymore at the moment as I parted ways with the L2 . But you can decrease it 1/4 turn and shoot a few shots every time . Best way is to degas the L2 and do it that way

Heat the tube before removing the reg body to soften the loctite.

What kind of insert?
When you turn the de-gas screw, does it empty the bottle?
Yes I am afraid so , EDgun doesn’t have a valve in there bottle to take it off under pressure like with some others you can
So the black 1/4” square section inside the chrome 17mm hex does not get adjusted? Mine is quite loose, where is it supposed to be set?
Is it also loose while under pressure?
