I just want to go ahead and thank you for posting this today. I was considering playing a few games of Gambit tonight just for something to do, and you helped bring me back to my senses.
So there's this teeny tiny indie game called Elden ring? I am sure you haven't heard of it but its good and you should do 50 bosses of Elden ring video 0_0 (don't worry, there are 157 boss encounters in Elden Ring, plenty of suffering to be had :) )
Honestly I don't know why- but I find this whole 50 Gambit game thing hilariously entertaining. I'm not sure if it's the game mode, or the fact that I can hear Fallout's soul slowly leaving his body as he plays- but either way I can't freakin' wait for the next installment of 50 Games of Gambit

The 14 mote guys probably have gambit bounties. There's one that needs you to summon one blocker of each size. Plus there's a feeling at 14 of wanting the 15 for the Large because medium blockers are a joke.
I've said repeatedly to my friends that I play D2 with, Gambit bounties are completely counter-intuitive to how the mode is played. It's so fucking frustrating. I don't bother to do them because of it -- it just makes Gambit not fun, for you or anyone else.
Understandable when just getting motes at the beginning or middle but when it’s just 5 motes that need banking to summon the primeval and they are running around trying to get 15… nah that ain’t the one
Omg, so many flashbacks to me screaming at my screen when seeing someone who has enough motes to summon the prime evil but decides to venture to the back of the map to get more motes 🤬
@@ADUSN it really does seem like doesn’t it, I was stuck in GoS for 10 hours straight trying to get divinity, and 3 of the people never learnt from the same mistakes they made 13 times over.

@@vorpalweapon4814 I don’t know about more then predictable considering they can spawn where the current wave is, across from it, or in the middle and it’s random. Sometimes you get that amazing roll and spawn where they need to go, funneling them all too you.

These vids are so gold because they mirror our own personal experience in Gambit. Extremely funny with self deprecating humour and fails we can all relate to. Hilarious.
For me, needing to get 15 motes is due to sending large blockers because there’s an actual jump in effectiveness when going from a medium to large blocker. Running with solar 3.0 Sunbracers with Icarus dash I occasionally go for the last more but 90% of the time it’s just easier to dunk 14, get the jump on the next wave of ads and get 15 + an entire field’s worth of motes so all your team has to do is run up and get them. Kid you not I get full Dawnblade super by the 3rd wave of ads if the circumstances allow it. Really helped when needing to get the Army of One medals
The thing I hate with gambit now is with the boss immune phases, if you have at least one good pvp guy on each team the match can drag on for ages. And also, the immune phases I can't tell if they are boss health based or time. Sometimes I'll heal the enemy boss up to full and they will just melt it back down. I try to do the same on my side and I get stuck because our boss have an immune phase. Its maddening.
These videos are incredibly instructive, whether you intended them to be or not. Watching your teammates by the portal, depositing your motes for the first invade, trying boss cheese strats. All good stuff.
The Eriana's reign of terror was miserable for us plebs just trying to get old gambit shaders. The ONLY positive was that matches tended to end quickly.
The reason they are holding on to their motes is due to a little thing called bounties. One of those bounties requires 15 motes to be dunked. It could be done sooner if everyone wasn't picking up the motes but that kind of communication ain't gonna happen with a bunch of blueberries. So you're gonna find a lot of people skipping the optimal time to dunk to go grab more motes. Blame Bungie not the guardians. 🤣
True; also - unless the drifter is telling you to bank to summon the primeval, I thought it was optimal to dunk at 5, 10 or 15? I would always try to pick up another couple if I was at 13?
@@omrizubary They don't have a choice if they are trying to effectively level their guardian. Bungie has made it so you have to choose between being a good teammate and getting your personal objectives complete. This is absolutely a Bungie issue.

I think my least favorite part about “improved” gambit is the primeval damage phases. In gambit prime we had a 30 second timer for damage. Now there’s no timer and it’s based on damage to the boss. It feels fucking mystical and leads to soooooo many wasted supers. Not knowing when your damage window is going to end is fucking dumb.
Really glad Fallout remembered Xenophage. While Gjallarhorn is the braindead option, Xeno gets 4 ammo per heavy box (so 2 kills) which means by the time of the first invade you should have 4-6 kills worth saved up, provided you can aim. I think it's better, and it's certainly more engaging. Overall I feel like this shows the improvements to Gambit in terms of what Bungie set out to do. There were few games that were blowouts. Invasions weren't dictated by which team got luckier on an early heavy brick. A team that was behind sometimes could actually make some plays and catch up. I wouldn't recommend playing 50 games straight as doing that with any activity is going to cause some insanity. I did well over that to get Reckoner and I'm probably still scarred for life. The main changes I think they could consider is reworking bounties so that you don't have some that incentivize players to do detrimental things, and possibly do something to rebalance some of the power weapons. Gjallar is just dumb, Xeno should probably 3-tap instead of 2, etc. Some stuff should be stronger than other, but right now it's so tilted towards specific weapons that not running them is actively detrimental.
Great and entertaining as always. Calling a guy with the Flawless seal a Blueberry was the cherry on top! We getting another Freelance Trials one? Upcoming weekend is Trials Labs: Freelance! LETS GET IT
In game #25, when fallout looks to his right at his teammate that's nonexistent and there is just silence... quick double check to the left to see if they moved, no? The silence of knowing you're down a player. I felt that!!!
I’m only seeing 49 games of gambit here. Thought there was 50 but your lawyers helped me recount and I saw that cheeky move where you skipped a number…
Every time I play gambit I just put on an ad clear build and focus entirely on that, only picking up motes if I have to and never invading; though I do try to fight off invaders whenever I can. So no matter the outcome of the game I can just be glad I did good in my role (usually the best or 2nd best of the lobby) and everything else was out of my hands. Saves me from a lot of raging, and makes the games fairly enjoyable. :)
Would love to see either A: Heavy ammo get toned down in Gambit so there isnt such a surplus of it or B: Make it disabled during Invasions (personally what I would prefer)
i think it would be very interesting if you played 50 games of The Binding of Isaac rebirth. Very outside of the typical looter shooter that we all know and love and its damn frustrating but very fulfilling to see your progress! great video!
Gambit needs some incentive for killing invaders/guardians with guns that arent heavy. Like dropping ammo if you kill them with a primary and less with a special and none with a heavy for killing invader. Invader kills could add insult to injury with primary stealing some (2 or 3 would add up pretty quickly) of their motes(straight from their bank to your bank) and energy kills taking motes out of their bank (2 or 3). Either that or having an invader present disables heavy for invader and everyone else to not have it basically just be rocket quickdraw/standoff
I ain't dunking 14 motes when I have a bounty to summon one of each blocker and I'm missing Large. A Gambit win is temporary, but getting 8 bounties done is far less temporary because I only have to do it thrice per week, and that alone almost makes me lose my mind.
For the ignorant: 5 motes = small blocker, 10 motes = medium blocker, 15 motes = large blocker, & the notches in the bar are for getting the invade portal up. -A Gambit Regular (Tell Drifter I said Hi.)
Dude. As someone who spent the last 2 weeks clocking in 200+ Gambits in an effort to find Gambit Jadestone and not only did I NOT find Gambit Jadestone (or any shaders), but lost my sense of self…. it’s good to know I am not alone. I think.
Hey, Fallout! It's me, the math equation username at 4:10 (Game 5)! It was nice playing Gambit against you. I honestly thought my team would lose, but eventually made a comeback. GGs, and love your videos!

Awww, we have to wait another hour? I NEED MY 50 GAMES NOW, FALLOUT!!! Jk, jk. I can wait. Impatiently

You managed to dodge a Sleeper shot by your pole dancing.
Good shit.
16:48 HAHAHA
You could play any game and make it interesting. You have a special talent that puts you above the rest.
So what had happened in game 30 was... when I invaded, I parried a galahorn. Then died to a invisible hunter with a glaive behind me...
Same. I got started as a reaper in Prime and that's how I still play. I do my part and if nobody else is doing theirs, not my problem.
6:08 that yoshi sound affect IS MY FAVORITE, I miss playing Mario.
Would love to see either A: Heavy ammo get toned down in Gambit so there isnt such a surplus of it or B: Make it disabled during Invasions (personally what I would prefer)
Yes please I hate heavy weapons in pvp in general. I would play way more gambit if people weren’t able to spam rockets
Disabling during invasions is actually a great idea
i think it would be very interesting if you played 50 games of The Binding of Isaac rebirth. Very outside of the typical looter shooter that we all know and love and its damn frustrating but very fulfilling to see your progress! great video!
16:40 This aged poorly.
I literally watched the old one last night and now we get this masterpiece
16:40 this line aged very poorly
Yo, dude, I really love the Fallout received from these 50 games of whatever you decide. I would absolutely love to see another 50 games of trials!
What about 50 games of a racing game of some kind?
Thanks, love you bud!!
Gambit > Crucible
I ain't dunking 14 motes when I have a bounty to summon one of each blocker and I'm missing Large.
A Gambit win is temporary, but getting 8 bounties done is far less temporary because I only have to do it thrice per week, and that alone almost makes me lose my mind.
For the ignorant: 5 motes = small blocker, 10 motes = medium blocker, 15 motes = large blocker, & the notches in the bar are for getting the invade portal up.
-A Gambit Regular (Tell Drifter I said Hi.)
That cayde brought back joke aged like wine
“I suffered through 50 games of gambit”
The community: *Do it again*
“Okay I did it again”
The community: *Now-*
“No.”
50 games are rookie number when you've grinned 200 games for the momento to drop...
Glad I could be apart of your game 33. My first game trying out the new gambit and you tore me and my team a new one.
I love the reference to jumping out of a plane with the DB Coop guy, that was great lol
Great video Fallout! Nice DB Cooper ref there too.
Dude. As someone who spent the last 2 weeks clocking in 200+ Gambits in an effort to find Gambit Jadestone and not only did I NOT find Gambit Jadestone (or any shaders), but lost my sense of self…. it’s good to know I am not alone. I think.
"...did you just kill the enemy invader with a glaive? You sick animal."🤣
Fallout is the hero we need, but not the one we deserve. Hats off to you sir.
Hey, Fallout! It's me, the math equation username at 4:10 (Game 5)! It was nice playing Gambit against you. I honestly thought my team would lose, but eventually made a comeback. GGs, and love your videos!
The actual best thing about Gambit is these 50 games vids.
It's nice to know my Gambit experience is a systemic pain, rather than a personalized hell, just for me.
I have the Dredgen title five times over and sometimes when I lay down for bed that mere fact haunts me awake
The DB Coop puns were A+
I love all of your 50 games of videos. The commentary is amazing and hilarious. I especially love your trials ones, as I've just started doing trials myself, so if you're taking requests... 50 more trials would be awesome! I was hoping you would do one after the shatter dive nerf as well, but I'm sure you were burned out after those 50
The exotic titan glaive on bank is actually quite handy in freelance to help dunking especially during an invade that mini bubble might not heal but can save someone while dunking and let's face it in freelance every little helps
7:03 just gets me pumped up!!!
