For stockings, we have always done treats, socks, lip balm, hand cream, practical items. The kids are now way into adulthood and we still do the same things! I also write a note for each telling them what i love about them and thanking them for being wonderful!

I like to do things like Bible highlighters since I always get him a new devotional as one of his gifts. My son turns 11 a few days before Christmas & he's always asking me to time him on how fast he can do things 😂 so I'm also putting an old fashioned stop watch in there. He enjoys having a really nice pen that writes well so I like to get one themed with whatever he's currently into. A few years ago when he was younger I put a giant magnifying glass in his stocking and oh man he had a blast with it out in the garden!

As a seasoned cook of 60 yrs. American Test kitchen will be a very detailed and difficult book for her to learn from. Even I would not try to cook from that cookbook. I say this to hope you find a beginner cookbook for her

My daughter asked for a violin and I’m so excited to see her open this one! She got a sewing machine for her birthday and she loves her sewing kit more 😂
I sew a lot they told you to size up due to being cotton. Cotton will shrink considerably. Bamboo is the best doesn’t shrink after washing and gets softer each wash.
