It's heartwarming knowing you spent your honeymoon here in the PH 16 yrs ago. Thanks for sharing. But more than that, thanks for loving our beloved sinigang! Actually, there's a pepper called siling haba or siling pansigang (Capsicum annuum) that's usually added whole to sinigang. It's green and long and not that spicy. And the good news is that sinigang can be had in many different ways. Apart from fish and shrimp, you can have pork (esp. liempo cut) and beef, too. As for the souring agents - apart from the usual sinigang/tamarind mixture in sachets, you can use real tamarind, kamias (bilimbi), santol, and guava. Once again, thanks for taking us with you to Pamplona. You will discover more hidden gems such as this place when you venture out further in the future. Always be safe in your travels please and esp. when driving and riding Boong-Boong!
I want to visit every city in the Philippines. That's our wish. Thank you for watching our video🥰

Lynn and Oliver are not picky eaters. They just love Pinoy food just like their eomma and appa.🥰
As a Filipino i love korean people 🇵🇭🤝🏻🇰🇷
me too.
The reason why Sinigang is very sour is because of TAMARIND .It is a type of fruit that offers it sour and sweet tastes. Aside from Tamarind , we use raw guava and mango too. Thanx for showing us how you love filipino dish. Hope you could try tortang talong, mechado, beef caldereta, afritada, bulalo, sisig, pininyahang manok, filipino version of curry (chicken curry), estofado, laing, pakbet, ginataang pako' and alot more 😅.
Sinigang is a perfect match for rice. It reduce the sourness😋
I’m hungry watching you eating delicious foods…
Happy to see you guys living here with simple life trying to experience our beautiful culture just always be safe and healthy at all time, god bless!
OMG! The reason you came to Philippines because you like Philippines so much on your honeymoon. Now you are here with your two beautiful children. Amazing! The name of that salad is Achara. thank you for telling me.🥰 it's really delicious🥰
the sour taste came from tamarind fruit (sampaloc) but now a days we use knoor sinigang mix powder you can buy it anywhere in stores and make sinigang

I wish this channel would've Korean viewers. The content (happy living and eating in the Philippines) is so entertaining and informative that it's a pity that Koreans aren't seeing it. Suggestion: why don't you guys put Korean sub to your video title. That is just to attract Korean viewers. As it is, they don't know your content is in Korean. Love your show. Keep it up!
This style of traditional filipino house is called "BAHAY KUBO" or nipa hut style 😊
mabuhay......... welcome to Philippines
Perfect place for a beautiful family.❤
One of my faves! ❤❤
Your children might not appreciate these sceneries as you do right now but you imprinted it in their memories as what good nature should be . To you as parents. seeing these nature is the best, to your children since they are young, are normal. Once they grow up and or went to different county, thats then they will realize.
So amazing. Warms my heart that you and your family are enjoying.
I love your family.

It's always interesting to see people eat sinigang for the very first time. Liking that dish is often an acquired taste, but some people like it naturally (like me). Your family is one of those who liked it on the first try, glad you're all having a good time!

Pork ribs sinigang is the best. Also chicken tinola. Best comfort food
Guys the main ingredient in sinigang why it's sour is tamarind, if you want to try and cook it there's alot of sinigang mix powder in groceries and it's fairly easy to cook 😁 looking forward for you next video! Take care!
sinigang comes in many form..fish sinigang, shrimp sinigang, crab sinigabg, fish and shrimp sinigang, chicken sinigang and pork sinigang...all of them are soury some blends with tamarind, camias or guava...enjoy our sinigang
Enjoy Philippines life, even me if I will retire, I'm going back home to the Philippines for good.
Nice of yall to try sinigang. Also, u need to eat sinigang with rice. Even a regular filipino cant eat sinigang by itself and enjoy it. Rice will act as a buffer and lower the sourness level, it also adds a sweet after taste
There’s an old saying in the Philippines. The people can be replaced, because we grow old and die but these lands are sacred and can never be replaced. There’s lots and lots of beautiful places in the Philippines. So many generations have passed and yet those lands remain sacred and taken care.
sinigang is so easy to cook very few ingredients the main thing you need is the "sinigang mix" which you can buy in any store (tamarind based) you can either use fish or pork(pork tail or ribs are the best)
Life here in Philippines is very simple..! Very nice weather 🌧️ raining shower and summer 🌞 🏝️ we dont have snow here on Philippines 👍🇵🇭
Love following your adventures, keep up the good work !!
Sinigang is tamarind-based soup originally. But there are some alternatives such as:
A. ORGANIC
1.) Tamarind fruit (very popular)
2.) unripe guava
3.) unripe mango
4.) cotton fruit
5.) camias
B. MIX
1.) knorr sinigang original (popular)
2.) knorr sinigang with gabi(taro)
3.) Guava mix
4.) Lemon grass mix
As a visayan (Bisaya), i personally dont like sinigang, though i really like sour-taste fruits especially unripe mangoes, cotton fruit, but in terms of soup, thats not really my type. I was born and raised in Mindanao, specifically in surigao, and i didnt heard or seen someone cooking sour soup, we didnt have sinigang mix in stores, specially retail stores. Even when i moved to Bohol (Central Visayas) where i took my college level (as a working student) I didnt even heard or saw people cooking sinigang soup. I only heard it in tv commercials.. But when i moved to bulacan (Central Luzon), sinigang is very popular, especially when rainy seasons. And this is where I tried my first ever sinigang soup experienced, and subjectively, i dont like it. Even if i am used to, i still dont like it, it only triggers my hyper-acidity. Maybe, most if not all, only pure-tagalog people loves this type of food. I rarely eat sinigang, but the one with taro mix.
Its a blessing to have a people like them, even though they from another country they promoting how good the Philippines is, love from Mexico
This channel always bringing me to different world and places i never been. The family that stay together, successful together.
Wow. Its so nice having foreigners very much liked the phillipines, and its culture. Its so nice to have you here. Enjoy your stay
When you love seeing beautiful landscapes and views in our country it makes me more wanting to look at your face Mr. Kim specifically in your eyes. You have a beautiful pair of eyes. The sour taste come from the fruit tamarind or sampalok in tagalog. Yes the atsara is a green papaya pickled.
Enjoy eating sinigang, The chili in the Philippines is very small but terrible, very spicy! Have a nice day! Annyeong!
Sinigang is best waten with rice and it best serve at noon because the refreshing taste of tamarinds
wow the place looks so nice too... the chef their seems a very good cook :) but yes sinigang is really addicting once you get used to it.
My favorite sinigang is Salmon Head and Belly Sinigang... Followed by Pork Ribs or belly Sinigang. Some add miso to the sinigang too!
My favorite sinigang is pork ribs sinigang and milkfish belly sinigang. 😋 😋
Glad Korean Taste 👅 buds can easily adopt Pinoy Foods.
The sourness of sinigang comes from tamarind, sinigang here in luzon has green pepper on it to add a hint of spice to it, its awesome to watch that you think to add pepper in sinigang but not that pepper thats very spicy 😂, i think many koreans love sinigang because of similarities on kimchi stew
Chorizo is one of the combination of Cho-Si-Log (CHorizo-Sinangag-ItLog) yum-yum-yum-yum!!!!! 🥰😍😇
hi I'm so glad you love sinigang one of the comfort dishes of Filipino :) If you want to cook at home its very easy try to find any videos at youtube for you guideline. All ingredients is very convenient to find too, the sinigang tamarind mix is the most populat condiment to makes the sour taste :)
